I've always been a fan of Ivan's. Hardly a "clown." He's a very good masseur and if he wants to offer someone any varying degree of extras, it should never be expected. He may not want certain clients to touch him or may have specific limits with what he's comfortable with depending on the client. It's totally up to him, and then it's totally up to you to decide how you want to react to that and you can reflect that interaction in your tip. On some occasions my masseur will tease me til I take things into my own hands. Others are more interactive, sure, but it is their place of business after all.

They're both fantastic masseurs. Eli has stopped responding to any of my texts asking to schedule something though 😢. Hope others have had the pleasure of seeing him!

There seems to be a new masseur at New Paradise named Norik. I’m assuming it’s the same that’s been talked about in this thread, but WOW. Would highly recommend after my one session with him this week. Can anyone confirm whether or not it’s the same Norik? Will def be repeating.

I would normally agree with you but everything about the experience- from my initial phone call to make a reservation, to arriving at what ultimately looked like a railroad college dorm that reeked of poppers and dr*gs, to the couldnt-be-bothered person at the front desk, to the laziest “massage” I’ve ever experienced, not to mention the gallon of oil I was doused in and then left in to clean off myself- the whole experience was an epic let down after so many glowing reviews here. But of course, all of that is just my one experience of this particular place and I accept that. Just keep your expectations low if that’s where you want to take your business.

Decided to finally try Spa 27 for the first time today and all I have to say is… Save your money fellas! 👎

It really depends on personal preference, how you like things to look AND feel. I’ve been waxed, shaved, trimmed, sugared and lasered over the years. I would routinely get my back, shoulders, butt, crack, hole, balls and shaft all done. I’d also have them trim my pubes so that they’re an even length all around. I also have them lightly trim the hair right under my butt on my legs so there isn’t such a stark difference between my (now) hairless ass and hairier legs. But overall I have found that I especially love the way my balls, taint, hole and shaft feel when they’re completely smooth and sugaring and laser have provided that consistent level of smoothness I prefer. My hole is incredibly sensitive so having it baby smooth when it’s being played with makes it even better.

Did anyone frequent THE ONE in Chelsea? I really enjoyed that place and lived around the corner for many years. 9 times out of 10 I got a solid massage w extras, and the showers / locker room tended to be a great spot for flirting / cruising with other patrons. Anyway, does anyone remember the tall, muscular, very strong, (Russian?) masseur there? I can’t remember his name (Max maybe?) but I definitely remember his hands. Would love to know if he’s elsewhere now or if he went private.

I had Francis last night. Sadly cannot recommend, though the last five minutes were fine. I initially had an appointment with Chad at 27 but they canceled on me last minute as they had overbooked by mistake.

76th and Rock Center are my typical go-to locations. Haven’t had a massage at an Equinox in recent years - always found them to be legit - but the steam rooms are another story, especially Rock Center 😜
