I agree. He’s not only facing incarceration, but also restitution payments (to a fund that benefits victims of this heinous crime). His legal representation/defense will be costly, too.
If he survives incarceration - and some don’t - he’ll be a convicted felon and possibly a registered sex offender. Employment and housing will be difficult to obtain.
The stigma of his repugnant crime will be permanent. At this time, the story - including his real name - is even getting international attention in the British Daily Mail tabloid.
As Mr. Nicholas said, he won’t come back from this.
