    What sites do you guys use now (after CL,M4M)

    Ever since a few sites shut down it is harder to find gay friendly massage therapists, or is it just me?

     

    I used to use Craigslist a lot, because it had actual spas and such that catered to gays and sometimes went the extra mile. Also there were low key folks there that didn't advertise on massagem4m.com. Now that they are both gone what are the sources?

     

    masseurfinder.com seems ok

    rent.men seems more escorty

    Same with friendboy.pro

     

    just curious if I missed out when folks changed platforms!

    He used to advertise on imgur with dicpics. I also thought he was nerdy cute and his old ads in various venues clearly implied more than the zero he delivers. I will not repeat after 2 attempts.

    NOTE: the clean, sterile, spa-ish setup shown in his ads is not his place ... or the last place he lived.

    I must be out of it. How do you search massage ads on Imgur?? Are they still up? I saw this guy and got a very strange vibe. Also his studio was filthy. Unsatisfactory

    In the pics at his ad linked earlier here, Joseph has tatts & a nice sized chest.

    When I met him 4 years or so ago, he ran similar pics and his handsome face & ripped build in a wife-beater tee with a beautiful & thick chest showing through is what led me to hire him.

    As I wrote here earlier, when we met for an appointment, Joseph actually had very little muscle on beyond definition and no tatts & the face, while pleasant was not the same handsome & cute one seen in the 3rd pic here. See it below. I wish to hell it had been that guy!!

    When he advertised here in Atlanta recently, I was suspicious that it was the guy I remembered so I called & asked a couple of questions which proved to me that he was the same guy I hired & remembered.

    On beyond that, the massage itself truly was average to a c minus range. As it proceeded, he up-sold me on other possibilities which turned out to be poorly executed & performed with no energy.

    The upshot for me was that I'd been sold a bill of goods & should have stayed home to watch a porn flick & saved my $$$!

    Guys: This was my first experience in having someone use pics that were not of them. I started this thread because I don't appreciate being flim-flammed & posted here as a warning so proceed at your own risk.

    Joseph obviously USED SOMEONE ELSE'S PICS.

    Oh I see. It was 100% the guy in the photo when I met. He travels with a friend for four hand and I'm guessing you ended up with his friend. I saw the friend in the lobby when I visited.

    Joseph has an appealing ad & appears there in photos as a real handsome cutie with sparkling facial assets.

    He also appears to have a great body in some of his photos & in particular to have a nice pair of thick pecs hiding under his shirts. That's always a selling point for me!

    In contrast, a couple of the pics seem not to show that same body but rather a body that is lean & defined at best.

    The upshot is that we met several years ago & I should have questioned the situation facing me upon meeting him on that occasion. I certainly would speak up nowadays. My questions would have included, "Where did your muscle bod go?" .. "Where are your big pecs?" as well as, "How did you get rid of most of your tatts? And finally, "Whose photos are you using 'cuz I really want to meet him!?"

    Suffice to say, I don't like being sold a bill of bogus goods in any type of transaction or purchase & that includes this biz.

    As for the massage, it was near average at the best... and I'm being a tad generous there.

    And any hoped for moments of joy were part of an up-sell marketing scheme which is also something I don't appreciate.

    As for any of those elements I may have selected, they were poorly executed & performed mechanically.

    Is it just me or have I been burned more than once by guys coming up from Florida, and specifically from the Orlando area? What's up with that?

    Never again!

    Hi there. I have to say I met him and he lived up to expectations and looked just as good as his site. This didn't seem like false advertising to me.

    Hi guys,

     

    I know a web developer guy who would build a new site for massage ads and such. What would you want to see in a new site?

     

    Ability to rate clients?

    Messaging on the app or via your own email/phone instead?

    Ability to swap pics?

    Ability to bid on clients if your schedule is empty?

     

    It just seems like there is probably an easier way to manage some of this so I thought I would ask the experts.

     

    I know FOSTA has messed up some things so it would have to be legally acceptable.

    I'm always running around and often have to book massage last minute. I can't host so Soothe/Zeel won't work. I wish there were a site where I could post "I'm looking for a massage in three hours" or "Friday at 2" and therapists would reply/bid/whatever. Would that concept ever work? Is there something I don't know about so I don't have to do tons of legwork booking a session?
