  1. I liked S1 for the acting and how sexually fluid and gender non conforming some of the characters were.

S2 is more of the same.  By now some of the high school drama is wearing a little thin.

However one very cool surprise is how the bad guy father character "Cal"

has a backstory involving his own high school days.    I hope there is more to the backstory.

The internet is already obsessed with the Cal and Derek flashback from epi 3.  Here is a fan video of the two.

I might have to continue watching just for the Larry Russell eye candy, and the Oscar Van Rhijn / John Adams shenanigans.

Not sure if these two bars would have been open in the 1880s for Oscar ad John...

Oscar is such a sweet fellow, and yes, definitely easy on the eyes.
He also seems apt to flout convention.  😛  Will we see if that extends into the bedroom, whether boys or girls?

I'm loving Louisa Jacobson as Marian Brook, (center).  Is she perfect?

I've only watched S1Epi1 on HBO.  Sounds like some of the above posters have seen all of it.  I'll probably need to ignore this thread for the spoilers.

  3. A friend of mine is obese.  He is very talented and successful. I don't understand why he is obese.

    Worrying does not help.

I would miss him if something happened.

I quit smoking 20 years ago.  I was addicted and smoked a lot.

Quitting was not easy.  I wouldn't try to explain how to quit.  That would be of little use.

Kudos to #1 and #2 for trying and for trying again.

One can intentionally avoid multi-day settings of being subjected to behaviors, music, expressions repeated ad nauseum while still respecting Queens, drag queens, and all other rainbow colors. I can't be sure of @E.T.Bass's precise definition of "queens", but I'm fairly certain that he has some things in mind that would turn me off of this particular cruise as well.

I prefer a handful of smart, sassy queens, not thousands of them.
