  1. I'm at super men's spa right now. Erik and Luis are here. I would say yes to either of them.

I came in for a mani pedi to see what's going on and look around to make a massage decision for later. All good choices I've seen so far

  2. What comes to mind is the phrase "to each his own". One man's "drab" is another's "stylish". I have been to so many spas in NYC and typically they are dingy, occasionally sketchy, and seldom clean. Living Fresh and Utopia are major exceptions as clean, well-designed, welcoming spaces. My office moved several years ago and I have not gone to LF in years. I go to Utopia mainly because Xiao was my masseur before he opened the spa. His private massage space is beautiful and the spa mirrors his private space.

I love the Utopia space. I love that you take your shoes off upon entering. I don't like the 3/4 walls, but I choose times to visit when it is not crowded. I love that I have no doubt about the place being clean. I have never experienced up-selling at Utopia. If I did, I would do what I always do and just say "No". It's a good value and predictably good service. I don't like the revolving door of masseurs, but I've learned it is common to all spas. If you don't like Utopia, I'll share a list of sketchy places where you can gain perspective.

I looked at the living fresh reviews and lady staffers were mentioned. Are ladies at all of these spas? Which ones have all male staff?

  3. I read an escort say, 50 years ago or so - "if you can tell the judge the color of the cop's underwear, you go free."

It wasn't true 50 years ago, and apparently it isn't true today.

50 years ago I'd guess about 100 percent of underwear was white.

  4. I've been several times. Both to the loft and to paddles. There's always some fun to be had. It's a bear party. You know what you're going to see. If you like chasers you're in luck. If you like bears you're in luck. I'll be there on Thursday. Come say hi.

  5. LOL Actually I think that kind of post helps make his point, though tongue and cheek it may be. Perhaps he does need a lesson. But by this post, he seems the type that would be dominated and would still believe it was all his idea.

    Actually, it's tongue in cheek.

  6. Never seen him but back when there was a Heal and Relax section his ad was in the Heal section. Suggests, but doesn't guarantee, a mostly therapeutic experience

Thanks for the info. I'm definitely looking for relax!
