The signs at hero say to report if they ask for a tip. I had s package of 30 minutes massage and 30 minutes shower for $55. When I turned over on my back he said are you a good tipper and I said yes. It was good and I'll go back. I gave him $100, which I guess means a $45 tip. In fact, I'll be back Friday.

i know some spas and individual guys do body grooming. Does anybody also do haircuts? I need a haircut and it would be convenient and fun to add to the massage.

Thanks for the advice. The only time I went the guy said he will take care of you. Turns out I would have picked him, but i would have felt bad about saying I'd rather have that guy. And I don't know enough about the options to call and request. Just an occasional visitor to NYC. But yes. Get the table shower!!

I'm newish at the massage game, even therapeutic. I got a mostly therapeutic massage yesterday. It was deep, the deepest pressure I've had. My relatively few muscles are really hurting today. Especially my legs. Is that normal? Is that a therapeutic massage goal?
