There’s no way it was a coincidence. I did it specifically as a privacy check. Posts on here talk about an escort in NY, who responds to any click, which is not usual. So I tried it. He’s in a different city and I’ve never gotten an unsolicited message in a year. If it’s a bug, weird one, to be sure. I did write them about the issue tonight. I’ll post the response I get. Unfortunately, no. We’re not in the same city. He obviously saw I browsed his page, but under the security settings I have and not being logged in to the site, he apparently was able to see I browsed.

I read a post here today about an escort that responds to every click on his page, so I tried it. I was not logged in and my privacy settings according to the site are private, and indicate nobody can see if I check out their pages. Well ... I got an email from rentmen 5 minutes later saying he sent me a private message on the site. I wasn’t even logged in! WTF? I will still enjoy the site, but rentmen should not offer privacy settings to give you a sense of privacy if they don’t exist. Any insight from clients or escorts? I know it shouldn’t matter if I look at a few pages a few times over time to decide if I may hire one day, but I am disappointed.

I just tested it out. I wasn’t even logged in to the site and have settings that say nobody can see if I click their page. 5 minutes later I had a message sent to my yahoo email telling me I had a message from him. WTF? I’m more concerned now about the site’s apparent fake privacy settings.
