I'm kinda the same. I don't really disclose the rates of the providers I've been with but if I didn't meet them or they flake on me I tell everything. Especially the ones I fell like I've made a real connection with I will keep the rates between us. Especially if they give me deals on multiple hours or make exceptions for me.

I always use the "phone trick". As a client when I'm at a provider's hotel I always make sure my phone (and my Apple watch) is on silent and act like I'm having a fun conversation with a friend.
