  1. Cruisy spa area (steam, sauna etc). Never had a massage there, but have spoken to people who have.. in all cases, they were paired with a female therapist. I get the distinct impression it's a strictly therapeutic establishment.

  2. Nothing like what's in NYC here in SF. Closest afaik is M Spa in the Castro, but don't expect extras from therapists there... its all above board, though can be playful in the (small) steam room.

  3. Ok, pulled the trigger and gave Niko a try.

On the plus side, he's just as hot in person as in the photos, was really accommodating with fitting me in despite my difficult schedule. In person, he's very friendly and genuine. But unfortunately that's where the positives end.

The apartment was freezing cold, the deep tissue massage was more like a light Swedish, and to top it all off, my 75 min session ended at 60. Strictly therapeutic. Definitely not worth the $180 it ended up costing.

  4. Agreed with the above on all accounts. Very skilled therapist with formal training. Super nice guy, masculine (straight?) and is the guy to go to for a strong therapeutic session.. but therapeutic is all you'll get, so if you're after more probably best to look elsewhere :-/

  5. Traveling to London in a few weeks. Curious if anyone has recommendations for a good spa (preferably one with attractive therapists :). Bonus points if they also have sauna/steam room facilities.

I see Agua Spa was recommended in a previous thread, but the original location at the Sanderson has closed.

Not looking for a gay bathouse-type spa, but rather something just a little more on the up-and-up. Thanks
