  1. To be honest, it seems to me that you spend much more time trying to "defend" the site out here than answer questions that are posed to you about it. If you don't want to talk about the site, you have to actually do that, lol. If you want to step in to try to defend the site anytime anyone makes comments about it, well, you can't really also tell us not to ask you questions lol. Just a friendly suggestion, thanks. ;)

    Okay;)

  2. According to ICANN WHOIS, the registration directory maintained by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, a registration update was made on 12/11/2018. They are supposed to be seamless, but registration updates are a bear and they often wreck havoc on a website. Last year, Google did maintenance on their domain registry and my domain was messed up for days. Couldn't receive or send email. Fortunately, your friend was able to recover relatively quickly. Since he doesn't charge for his services, he didn't experience lost revenue. Still, I'd ask for a refund of a day's worth of hosting fees just to teach them a lesson.

The story is much more interesting than I thought based on a quick note I initially had. But it’s not for public. Please stop asking me in public and in PM about Friendboy.pro insides. Its not my site and I dont have enough information to answer all the questions you may have. I am sure it will survive anyway.

  3. N.B.:

Angel replied to my last post ("But what makes...") from a different account, @DavidMore. That post has now been deleted. However, I still have it open in another window. Here's a screenshot:

This may be worth keeping in mind when deciding what to trust, and whether or not an external entity is using multiple accounts here to surreptitiously influence the conversation.

David is my partner actually. We are trying to test how the new version of forum works. Sorry for the confusion

  4. Whose site it is has nothing to do with the assertion you made. I'm just suggesting you could explain why you think there was a DDoS attack paid for by a competitor. It's a big accusation. Surely there's something that leads you to make it?

I only had a quick note from my friend so far. They are very busy with recovering the site at the moment. It was my guess about compatitors. Who else would pay for cyber attacking Friendboy.pro? Ddos and other attacks are expensive. Homophobes will pay for it? I don’t believe. Random Hackers? Friendboy.pro has no financial platform on it, so I don’t believe in random hackers. But you know better than me, I remember:)

  5. Or just explain what leads you to conclude that you were the victim of a DDoS attack in the first place.

I have already explained to particulary you that its not my site. My good friend works for it. I have some brief information at the moment, that’s it. Being a freakquent Friendboy.pro user I see that everything is the same, especially mentioned pop up thing, just not all elements still work correctly.

  6. Oh for crying out loud. The website went down. It came back up with a new pop-up element that wasn't there before. The simple explanation is that it was down briefly as part of the change to its content. That's normal. Nothing to be ashamed of! Making site upgrades is good!

Instead, the site's rep gives us a vague, unprovable and untestable accusation of financed DDoS attacks purchased by the site's competitors. There is no explanation of what leads them to believe that. THIS is the reason people worry about the integrity and trustworthiness of friendboy.pro.

And of course keep worring if you want to.

Golem, you have your own Friendboy.pro , keep it. You didn’t ask anything, you know everything yourself much better than I do, so my answer was not for you:) Next time if someone asks me personally, go ahead and answer. Now since I was before you answering some questions addressed to me, I’d clarify for other people. There are no new elements added to Friendboy.pro site during almost a month already. But some old elements are still not working correctly after that last attack yesterday

  8. but, but, but....on rentboy.pro - they say "approved by meeting".....& refer to "Theo" as being "one of the best escorts of all times", yada, yada, yada......(that new rentboy.pro site is suspect in a number of ways).......also on RM - age listed as "35"....on RB "37".....the truth likely somewhere in the middle - mid 40's.....or so/at least.

    https://rentboy.pro/boys/THEODOROS

Friendboy.pro accepts narrative comments from people, thats it. This escort Theodoros has one positive funny commet from “Paris Hilton” on Friendboy but 63 five stars reviews on Rentmen

  9. And yet every single post you've made in this forum has been to shill the site.

    Kevin Slater

Not true. But very many posts. My choice

If you were a true "friend" you would do a better job of talking up your friend's website. You are doing him no favors.

Let my friends decide what a friend am I:p I talk about the site because I want to. I use it myself and I find it to be a good website.

  11. You might want to re-think your strategy of calling potential website clients names. It is very bad for business.

I’m just chatting with other forum members in informal atmosphere. Nobody from here is my potential client. Not an escort here:oops: Friendboy.pro is not my site either. My good friend works for it and I use the site for my personal needs. Some of you are too negative towards Friendboy.pro in my opinion. Its just my forum opinion. You have your opinion too. Have a nice day on Rentmen:p

  13. To clarify - I don't notice anything different about the site.

When apps get updated on my phone, they may explain that they're making changes "under the hood" so to speak - such changes are usually designed to make the site run smoother but without the look or user operation feeling any different. But they don't call those "new" apps, they just call them revisions.

"New and improved" has been an advertising catchphrase for a long time. But, how often do we, as consumers, really notice the difference between the improved and the old? Half the time I tend to wonder if the only thing new about the product is they they're advertising it as "new and improved." It's a bit of a mind fuck. Tell consumers it's been improved, and a lot of people will probably believe it.

If improvements and changes have been made, great. I hope they do and will affect the way the site is running. But I don't notice the differences, so it seems rather strange to be touting them constantly.

Though, I suppose it's better than the people (not) running Doublelist (the site that started as a clone of the Craigslist personals after they got shut down). They have made so many promises on site improvements, and almost none have happened. Most, I predict, never will. I use it, and it's adequate for now, but I think they made a big mistake hyping too many potential improvements.

Friendboy.pro looks different, works differently and has approximately 5 times more ads than Rentboy.pro had. For you its still the same blue website, Ok Doc, let it be the same for you.

  15. You mean, technically, it's the exact same website. The only thing that has changed, technically speaking, is the name. Some things may have changed internally, but on the surface (i.e. everything we see on the site and how it operates for us) is the same. There is no question about that.

The CMS aka the core is completely different. Features are different. Popularity is different. But if its still the same for you, Ok Doc:p

  17. I know escorts who posted ads on rentmen on X city "canvassing" (checking if there was interest to go there) and removed their ads months ago... All of the sudden they get text messages asking if they are on X city (the city they tried to go and decided NOT go to), they go online and they see their on X city on friendboy…

You don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure it out that one, right?

Some guys forget to replace their ads when they travel. New Friendboy.pro CMS was created to minimize inactive ads. Innactive ads go down in city searches. Finally the system deletes such ads after 3 months of zero activity

  19. Can you clarify what you mean by this statement? I am not following what you mean by that statement?

Rentboy.pro wasn’t popular, it had problems with google, problems with management and some other problems. Friendboy.pro is Rentboy.pro 2.0., but technically its a different website. Its already popular enough

  21. They copy ads from Rentmen and post them on their site. That's all I know about that website.

It means you don’t know anything about Friendboy.pro:rolleyes: No need for Friendboy.pro to copy anything. It has approximately 10 new guys every single day. I prognose that it will have more ads than Rentmen in the end of the next year. It’s free of charge, easier to use and already popular enough. The biggest difference between Renboy.pro and Friendboy.pro is popularity. You can keep your mind with old extinct Rentboy.pro or you can use new Friendboy.pro
