Yes, as much as I was offended by the blatent homophobia, I didn't regret not getting offered a job. As you say, why would I want to work there? Some employers take it seriously. Many don't. I've worked for both kinds. It's amazing what people can get away with for years and years in some places. Just look at all the scandals coming to light in Hollywood after Harvey Weinstein. And there are still people who blame the victim. Some may think things are improving but I'm not so sure.

I haven't encountered the problems described hear but it seems to be a pattern. I've used Firefox as my main browser at home and work for years now. I've tried switching to others, mainly Chrome, but I miss enough features of FF to switch back. I like the history and bookmark function in FF better than Chrome for instance. I hope they get the browser back on track.

Oh sure. In job interviews at least twice. They couched it in language like "our customers are very conservative and would only want meet someone who projected that image". But it was clear what they meant. :mad:I wish I could have sued. But it just didn't seem like I'd have a strong case. I'm happy to read some of the stories hear of people who sued an won.

Any votes for your favorite fries? I like the waffle cut fries at Chick-fil-a. McDonald's is a close second. Mickey D's seems to win a lot of taste tests. I hear In-N-Out has good fries but I've never wanted to wait in line long enough to find out.

It's been years since I lived near a Waffle House. I do miss the waffles and hash browns. Perfect weekend breakfast.
