You can keep blaming the messenger(s), or you could take a deep breath and think for a moment why your decisions are making folk (many folk, as evidenced by this thread) uncomfortable with your site: listing guys without their consent or even knowledge, bedding escorts with the promise of some sort of favoritism, etc. Claiming you've changed your methods based on our feedback while simultaneously belligerently defending said actions shows that you still just don't get it and casts a long shadow over your endeavor and fundamentally your judgement.

 

I suspect people want to hear "we now understand why that was a bad idea" rather than "you're dead wrong, but if it'll shut you up we'll stop".

You, Kevin, and some other individuals have already showed here, that whatever we do you will keep blaming. You will keep blaming for the things we have already changed based on your opinions, keep blaming for something we have never done like charging for example. Ok, have fun doing this...

They could have reset the website and started over. Since it's "free", no one could complain if it went away for a while. I'm pretty sure they don't have free web hosting, so this could have even reduced operational costs. They are beyond defensive, they are trying to absolve themselves of any responsibility for their actions. This thread could have stopped pages ago if they weren't so stubborn about defending bad practices.

As for me I don't hate anyone for sure. "Love for everyone except your former colleagues" - sorry, you are not right. Im trying to teach myself to love everyone. Tristan, I worked for Rentboy.com, but I didn't rule the company. I will tell you a "secret". Some former Rentboy.com colleagues hate me because we differ in our opinions about everything. They also hate my child Rentboy.pro because they think like "Why me? Why not them?". Well, because my guys and I finally did it while our "friends" were lazy and scared...

The people who made decisions about how much to charge you during Rentboy.com times are no longer on board. Rentboy.com made a few mistakes, just like every other company. However it has never been just business for business, it also was for the good and for the community.

Maybe it could have been better for us to choose a different word for a new brand. We meet people who are afraid of "Rentboy" word too often (just read the beginning of this thread). Sometimes we meet people like you who dont like Rentboy.pro because of some Rentboy.com's mistakes...

But we love Rentboy.com times. We will try to end up "post-rentboy era" when everyone in the industry started to hide everything. We will fix Rentboy.com's mistakes. Of course, we make our own mistakes from time to time, we are just humans, but we always try to admit and fix our mistakes ASAP. We are open for constructive crits.

I think that my co-worker @Boomxyz answered all the questions so far. If you are really interested to look inside Rentboy.pro, just re-read his posts in this thread.

My personal motivation to work for Rentboy.pro is:

-Creation and self-development.

-Challenge. To prove something to myself and to some certain individuals (my former colleagues, etc.)

-The idea of a new Rentboy. This name means a lot for me because I worked for it before.

-Superman complex:) To try to make the world a lil bit better, to try to become a lil more important for people, to try to leave at least a micro nano mark on history and in memories...

I would agree with you based on your logic. You do not have to replicate the RM system. BUT, you will have to find a way to implement a client rating system if you want rentboy.pro to get off the ground. Clients will belive clients. A valid client rating system of some sort coupled with your rating system could be very effective in the long run. Your system in itself will not give clients the validity they need to ensure their hire will be sucessful.

Many rentboys were eager to provide that sample sessions of different intensity. But we got negative feedback from the forum and reconsidered everything

It was announced here. No one free sample session was done. This old option will be removed from the site soon. We were a little bit too busy with creating other options like Travel locations (were added only because you guys considered it useful, the crew was initially against Travel locations); creating new city search algorithm (the initial one you didn't like), etc. Everything takes time and to speak frankly we work 12 hours a day for free (we don't charge anyone of you), for the idea of a new Rentboy. But I think we already showed you: no other project was so sensitive towards YOUR opinions

That's why Rentboy.pro has "Approved by Meeting" and "Approved by Skype" features. Being done by the site itself when its trustability is involved, this verification option will be more reliable. Rentmen reviews system has not the best reputation for a reason. There are many renters (clients) here on the forum whose reviews were not processed or finally deleted by Rentmen. Also every second or 3rd active escort already has a little "army of clones", fake clients' accounts on Rentmen to support himself and to beat perspective competitors. Is it a review system? More like a profanation in my opinion. Of course while Rentboy.pro is only 2 months old it has not much trustability yet, but it will grow. More adventures renters of course are the firsts to give us a try. Then more cautious people like yourself will probably decide to do so too
