True, but remember:

Boston is so expensive for housing, almost everyone has roommates or lives in a dorm. I lived in a brownstone fraternity house in Kenmore Square (there are several in the area) and brought someone home once. Big mistake. So no incalls.
Hotels are particularly expensive--visitors always complain about that. I think maybe even New York City is cheaper, or has more options. So an independent contractor isn't about to take a room without a few customers or an overnight, so outcalls are expensive, too.
Gender fluidity and "general" acceptance of gay activities is so much more prevalent that there's no need of it for the mere satisfaction (and they have each other).
With the costs of college skyrocketing, we may be seeing a college-population "shift" to wealthier kids.
If a place like MIT admits 1,400 students (up 50% in the past 45 years), there could well be such a shift. The result? They don't need the money.
Applications like instagram, grinder, etc. might be superceeding Rentmen, especially for the Generou$.
 
As noted, there is an incredible preponderance of young kids on Seeking Arrangement, in which (from my experience) the majority don't read. I specifically say I'm looking for someone over 30. Right sniff, wrong bush.

Maybe "to hate" is not the most appropriate word. "To dislike", "to feel envy" could be better verbs. But do not be too strict please.
 
 
As for me I don't hate anyone for sure. "Love for everyone except your former colleagues" - sorry, you are not right. Im trying to teach myself to love everyone. But I do feel a positive challenge to show something and prove something to some of my former colleagues. It's my personal thing though and I told about it here ONLY because I was asked about my personal motivation and it was a little part of my personal motivation...

Sorry again, but I don't see any "problems", I see development, goals to achieve... The main idea of the system you described as the one you didn't like was actually created based on opinions we have collected here on the forum. Anyway we will keep collecting different opinions and keep developing

Tristan, I worked for Rentboy.com, but I didn't rule the company. I will tell you a "secret". Some former Rentboy.com colleagues hate me because we differ in our opinions about everything. They also hate my child Rentboy.pro because they think like "Why me? Why not them?". Well, because my guys and I finally did it while our "friends" were lazy and scared...
 
 
The people who made decisions about how much to charge you during Rentboy.com times are no longer on board. Rentboy.com made a few mistakes, just like every other company. However it has never been just business for business, it also was for the good and for the community.
 
 
Maybe it could have been better for us to choose a different word for a new brand. We meet people who are afraid of "Rentboy" word too often (just read the beginning of this thread). Sometimes we meet people like you who dont like Rentboy.pro because of some Rentboy.com's mistakes...
 
 
But we love Rentboy.com times. We will try to end up "post-rentboy era" when everyone in the industry started to hide everything. We will fix Rentboy.com's mistakes. Of course, we make our own mistakes from time to time, we are just humans, but we always try to admit and fix our mistakes ASAP. We are open for constructive crits.

The initial business-plan was gone with our investor more than a month ago. I was trying to give you the current and insiders information:) Looks like yeh, you are right guys, we should start charging and hire more people to update the site more often:)

Contrarily, on rentmen, you have to have the same exact text in each city you visit. Rates different in Atlanta? Tough luck. No sling while visiting SoBe? Too bad your ad says you have one. Can't actually do incalls while in Peoria? Not according to your ad.

As opposed to rentmen, who now charges $540 a month, on top of your base ad price, to be on the first page in Manhattan, far more then rentboy ever charged. And oh, they also hiked their rates the day after rentboy got raided. Talk about gouging.

I think is benenifical that they are here. All businesses are a about making money. One can't assume that rentboy.pro will have the negative characteristics of the old rentboy. It is not logical that will happen. Rentmen is solid competition. Competition drives the market. In order for them to maintain long term success, they will have to be competitive and their service will have to deliver to escorts and clients alike. With other competitors as well, I am sure they realize the need not to make the mistakes of the old rentboy. I am sure Rentmen is paying close attention as well. I am sure they will adapt to remain competitive. If rentboy. pro is smart, the will keep cost low or free for escorts to ensure variety and find ways to make money from the clients and from some sort of advertising. It will be a fine balance. They could have an incentive program for clients to sponcer regulars. My regulars are always giving me extra benefits. I am always happy to sponsor them. I use bit coin or give them cash. I think Rentboy.pro has a great potential to be compititive with Rentmen because this is a wide open market. If I and @Tarte Gogo where 10 years older, I would convince him to do a start up. As in any business, when you fully understand the needs of the consumers and you can provide a product in an effective way, there is plenty of money to be made in a way that positively benefits all those involved.

Oh, come on, give them time. They are working for free.
Do you really expect all the functionality of a site that makes a significant revenue per year? How much does rentmen make per year? A million? More?

... and I would welcome a Rentmen representative here. Hell yeah.

He is a client, which gives him the right to be here and participate.
 
He has disclosed that he also happens to work for rentboy.pro. I think it is better that he has disclosed that, rather than remain here as just a client and participating without disclosing his affiliation.

Why? Because they do not charge, right?

Personally, I think you have a product that has great potential. It seems with your attitude you maybe able to make it a success.

My personal motivation to work for Rentboy.pro is:
 
-Creation and self-development.
 
-Challenge. To prove something to myself and to some certain individuals (my former colleagues, etc.)
 
-The idea of a new Rentboy. This name means a lot for me because I worked for it before.
 
-Superman complex:) To try to make the world a lil bit better, to try to become a lil more important for people, to try to leave at least a micro nano mark on history and in memories...
