I was thinking about posting a similar comment the other day; I'm glad you did.

I had a masseur recently who delivered an awesome technical massage, and the sensual part was also great... he allowed for a lot of touching. When he asked me to turn over, he quickly moved towards the HE. I told him it'd happen pretty quickly, and indeed, it did.

I showered, and walked out of the apartment, before looking at my phone and realizing it was less than 40 minutes after arriving. I was suddenly irritated. On one hand, I wondered if I sent the wrong signal. Was I too frisky? Should I have been more clear to delay the HE? I ended up texting him about it, just to see if he'd reply, and of course, he didn't. All things being equal, I definitely would have returned to him before realizing the time deficiency; now I'm not sure.

I asked another masseur and his take was that after the HE, it's clean-up time and the massage part is generally finished. Granted, there are some situations that will compensate in other ways, but I am still confused how to handle this going forward.

Buyer beware with this guy. Previous post: https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/anttuan-in-nyc-used-to-be-miami.122333/#post-1427367 (There are more, but hopefully this is sufficient to steer you away.)

FWIW, I have seen him, and would not repeat.

@Capitano I completely agree... and while you will undoubtedly earn back whatever money you've paid, it's the frustrating reality that the time spent in the process is unrecoverable.

Way too numerous & obviously fake reviews for Jake is Back! were a warning sign but options are so limited in New Orleans that I still decided to try.
Chubby straight guy with no massage skills imagining he is every gay man's dream, trying to make a "quick & easy buck." Not knowing there is no such thing.
He tries to be friendly and all but there is just "no there over there," he is way over his head trying to do this.

I am so done trying masseurs with no or even mixed testimonials here. At least for a while.
You know the feeling when you realize "this is going to be mediocre at best" minutes into the appointment.
Followed by "why the fuck am I spending my time and money on THIS?" once you realize that it is NOT going to get better and there are no pleasant surprises lurking.
And ending with "why am I the one paying when I should really be the one getting paid for this?"
But then you realize that you actually like what you do for a living and you wouldn't repeat this shit even if someone paid you...

I would echo @dcbbvers' sentiments. I found him very attractive... but after a very brief massage, and a similar attempted upsell (which I declined), he moved to the happy ending, and that was the end of that. I doubt if it lasted 20 minutes. But he's hot, and I admit, I left wondering if I should have just hired him in an escort context and would've been happier.

On another note, the incall space in Miami left a lot to be desired.

I, too, prefer to zone out, and was used to doing so from years of spa massages. But when I started doing more sensual massages, I found that there's talking. Sometimes a lot of talking. It's not necessarily bad, but I never feel that mental relaxation the way I would if I had an uninterrupted hour of peace and quiet.

However, I'm leery to shut it down, because like @510guy said, it helps to connect with somebody from whom I'm usually expecting more than just a deep-tissue massage. So unless the conversation veers towards politics and religion, I usually just entertain it, and I feel like it results in less "robotic" experiences, like some have reported here.

His profile is back now... have there been any recent visits? The other thread referenced that he may not be as lean as the pictures. I wish MF would add the RM feature of noting the date the pictures are posted so there'd be a little less guessing.
