  1. Not too many people get a 25% to 30% raise.

I would think since escort advertising is in jeopardy, there will be fewer clients reading the fewer ads that will be able to get to the market place. To increase escorts rates at this time, as you propose, could cause more harm than good. Also, escorts with "regulars" might lose those regulars if the escort suddenly decides to charge an extra hundred dollars, as you advise.

Clients and escorts will have to wait and see what happens after the shock settles in.

Fewer ads equal fewer readers, equals fewer clients. Raising the escort fee twenty-five or thirty percent could be a downfall for many escorts.

But, as you wrote, you "know first hand these methods work."

You’re assuming that all exsisting clients will be needing to pay more, false. Anytime I have raised my rates (several times) I always leave my exsisting clients at their original rate. New clients will pay the new rate. That’s standard business practice in the service industry. I also entirely disagree with you. Fewer platforms means fewer readers? That isn’t true at all. If anything it will be bringing us MORE traffic to RentMen because everyone will need somewhere to go... and also yes, most people don’t get a 30% raise because MOST PEOPLE ARENT SELLING THEIR BODIES FOR MONEY !!! Who would have thought?!

  2. I don't think providers are interchangeable widgets, so I can see how this strategy will not be a good fit for every one.

So we are not all human who deserve to have a raise just like everyone else? I don’t see your point here. This will raise rates for everyone, not give one universal rate for everyone. Some will still be lower, some will be higher. I understand there is a difference in quality of providers but many people rely on the multiple platforms for different streams of income. I have seen posts on here about boys charging different rates on different platforms... why do you think that is? One ad gets slow so they are posting on another at a lower price to generate more revenue. This is not good for the self esteem, and now that it isn’t even an option any longer I truly feel a rate raise is absolutely necessary. I’m out here giving so many solutions for the crisis that we are going thru and it seems like all anyone wants to do is complain... I know first hand these methods work. Take my advice or leave it, but I guess we will see who is still standing at the end of it all.

  3. I guess it’s just a matter of who falls into what category. As far as I can see it, the number of rich people is not growing. I’m pretty sure there are already guys hanging out in those high end hangouts. Now those spots are going to get even more crowded. Which means an increase in supply, not demand. That tends not to lead to an increase in prices.

Wow I’m so disappointed by the lack of optimism in our community. This really saddens me. I have been in all areas of the industry. I have been in survival sex work, homeless and sleeping in a car. I have also built myself and my business to where I am now, because I am optimistic and believe in myself. Removing limiting beliefs will help people see that there will be always be solutions to every problem. Do you know how many curious married men hang out at those places?? I have met CEO’s and VIP clients. It’s about learning the clientele. Search when conferences are happening in the area, and asses what type of men will be going to those conferences. Then determine what hotels they may be staying at. New money is printed daily and there is more than enough for everyone to make some. So yes, if they don’t believe in themselves as a provider and go into that environment thinking they won’t make money... then they’re right! But if theyvgo in there with the attitude that their client is already there waiting for them, they just have to meet him... they almost always will get paid.

  4. I just don’t see this as a useful thing to do. I appreciate the thought, though.

“A universal rate raise is this only way to ensure survival at this point” ... what!? No way!

You don’t believe that you deserve more pay now that you have fewer platforms to advertise on?! So when one advertizement gets slow, where will you post? Or will you go back to a square job? Start running specials? I’m good on all of that. I guess some of us have business owner minds and others do not... I don’t do this just to kill time.

I also would like to add that your business is suffering currently due to the state of our government... HOW is more money not going to be useful to you??

  5. The therapeutic section has been removed....

You gotta love the fact that the our dear leader hires and pays off prostitutes yet outlaws postings for the common folk.

FYI spankchain is offering a $250,000 cash reward for any hard evidence of any politicians behind this bill engaging in escort services. They have promised to keep the identity of the provider anonymous and have a legal team assisting them with this.

  6. I wonder how many hires are rich guys who hangout at high end hotels and restaurants, and how many are like me, middle class guys that save their money to have fun. Not to mention guys who have families and can’t go out or download dating apps.

I also hate talking to guys on Grindr and finding out they’re just there for business. I’m not completely hideous, I like to think when a guys hit me up to see what’s in my pants, his not talking about my wallet.

This new world seems to only benefit the people who already had it good in the old world.

Exactly. The weak will fall and the strong will rise. It is sad but it is the truth. This is obviously what trump wanted. Segregation between races and classes, like Russia. Backpage providers will be back on the streets, and the high end providers will just have to put in more footwork. As providers, we have to adapt in whatever ways we can if we want to continue. My clientele may be different than many, but I’m giving my advice because some may benefit.

  7. Again, good luck with that. I am glad things are working out so well for you. So with all that coin coming in, I am sure you know that each and everyone of those coins has two sides.

This isnt my letter to clarify. This was written by retired porn star and self made millionaire Melina Mason, who now works as a successful mentor for high end escorts. She has a platform of about 22,000 escorts online and this letter has been marketed to all of us. She also offers private mentoring at a weekly rate, which I would highly reccomend to any providers reading this that are interested in learning how to make more money. I am personally not worried about this bill affecting me. However I know that many providers are not in my position, so I will help in any way I know how. These are my people and I am worried for them.

  8. You are certainly free to charge what you feel is equitable. Of course a 33% raise in rates would like drive some to hire less often and others not to hire at all. Those who are considering trying to contact an escort may find the rates a bit too much for a experimental encounter. Tips, likely will disappear to not happen at all. As for me, a tightening of the financial situations has led me to downsize my encounter number, raising the rate will likely reduce that number further.

So good luck with your plans. I am sure there are many that will join you and quite a few that will not, we will call those escorts the busy ones.

And this is prime example of why I wanted to avoid posting this publicly. This is a time where the strong will rise and the weak will fall, unfortunately. I already charge 400/hr outcall and have zero problems. In fact I have done only one single hour appointment in March. I was booked for 5 figures last week, and I have made an extremely large amount in one night off 2 clients working the super bowl. I’m not saying this to brag, but to prove that when you believe in yourself and the quality of your experience anything is possible. If you do not hire me because of my rates, the you aren’t the client for me. I think providers should raise their rates, because their ARE people willing to pay that price. Of course all my past clients will be grandfathered in at their current rates, but as far as new clients go... the circumstances leave us few to no other options. M4RN just got shut down and we have only a few platforms left to advertise on (which could also be going away soon).

  9. Strip clubs are great.......if you're a stripper.

Otherwise you have to compete with a bunch of naked muscle guys swinging hard cocks and firm asses around.

    Maybe wear a bright color?

Or some nicer clothing and look more high end. You’d be surprised how many people only want to look at the dancers... they’d rather go home with someone they THINK isn’t doing this every night lol. I’ve made more money working strip bars than I actually did when I was dancing, and i didn’t have to be there all night either. When you’re in a busier environment like this however you have to be more aggressive and approach the clients yourself usually.

  10. Things are moving faster than I expected... So I will be placing a copy of this letter here. My rates are increasing as of May 1st and so are many other providers in Houston. I have received amazing responses. This letter is ALSO being shared by thousands of female escorts across the country. Many females have already raised their rates or removed the one hour option from their listings. Why not us as well? I hope you all decide to stand up for what you deserve and make this change with us. OUR BODIES. OUR CHOICE. Please feel free to copy and share to every provider you know as well.

    Dear Fellow Providers,

This letter is in regards to the Rate Raise Movement of 2018 #RaiseTheRate2018. You may be aware of the effects FOSTA/SESTA has had on your business and peace of mind. I am requesting on the behalf of the entire adult industry and especially to providers in our city to raise your rate by at least $100 by May 1st.

This one act when done in unison by all providers across the country will bring higher quality clients, making your work environment safer AND more profitable. This is only possible if everyone does it. We must stand together in unison as sex-workers. If you can respond to this letter with a simple ‘yes’ you are committing to bettering the quality of your life and future.

Several years ago, $500 was considered to be low end for a providers hourly rate. The cost of living has gone up and the amount of providers has doubled in the recent years, driving prices down. This is NOT sustainable and will ultimately leave the industry in ruins. Now, with the limitations of FOSTA, finding safe clientele will be increasingly difficult. A universal rate raise is this only way to ensure survival at this point. The time to takeaction is NOW.

Here are some tips to help justify your price raise:

    ● Update your photos with higher quality images. If you don’t have immediate funds for this, go tomodelmayhem.com. Find a photographer that will do a trade shoot with you. That means they take your photos for free but can use the images forwhatever purpose they want.

    ● Consider revamping your website to showcaseyour personality including a blog.

    ● Replace your 1 hour option with a 90 minuteminimum.

    ● Build your social media presence to generate some buzz around your brand, but be aware that

sites like Instagram and Twitter are increasingly banning accounts that look like obvious

    sex-workers.

    ● Work on self-care to boost your confidence level. Not only is it good for your mental and physical

health, but your clients will find your new found glow more attractive.

    ● Read the free Ebook on www.thecompleteguidetoescorting.com for moretips.

Know that we are as frustrated as you are with how difficult things have become. Even the most high end providers have been affected in someway by FOSTA/SESTA. It’s time to take a standand change the industry for the better. Please respond to this letter and forward it to your provider colleagues and post on social media to make a real change.

Please consider this letter as my promise to raise my rate come May 1st. Will you join us?

    Sincerely,

    Blake Benz

    Your local provider and ally

  11. We are going back in time my friends. In the flesh is where you’ll have to hire. Here’s some free game.

    Spots escorts typically hang out:

-High end hotel bars (Four seasons, ritz Carlton, Hilton, Marriott, etc.) look for someone well dressed & presentable sitting alone and scanning the room. May make eye contact, wink, or waive at you.

-High end steak house bars (In Houston popular ones would be Steak 48, Mastros, etc. ) you’ll be looking for the same things

-DATING SITES: Grindr, tinder, any type of hookup site can easily be used to hire or find clients (Providers please learn how to properly finesse a dating site) there are many instructional videos on thecompleteguidetoescorting.com (due to FOSTA their education and video section is private and you will need to create a customer account before you can access it)

    - Las Vegas casinos + casino bars (I’ve seen both men and women working the casinos here and it’s great because you can have longer windows of opportunity. You get 4-5 hours to make money at normal hotel bars but in Vegas you can be working all day and night if you’d like.)

-Strip clubs/gogo bars (can be hard because you do have to compete for attention due to the dancers, but I feel this a great place to find clients and providers, some already working but also if you think about it men go here because they’re horny .. so why wouldn’t this be a great spot to meet potentials?

I’m sure there are many other places but these tend to be my go to spots when my ads aren’t hitting.

  12. Being a native west-coaster myself, I don’t see why you would ever want to leave LA! Haha.

However, I had to get up and leave my home town too. I needed change. It was probably the hardest thing I ever did but it built so much character and I’m so proud of myself for where I am now!! So many people told me I was crazy or wouldn’t be able to do it but I did and I was blessed in return for following my heart.

Realistically NYC is super expensive (+cold ew) and it DOES take time to build your regular clientele. If you’re wanting to make the transition smooth and comfortable, then there’s plenty of great advice here for you. My advice would be if you truly feel deep down you are capable, then sit down and ask yourself how bad you want it? Are you willing to do whatever it takes to survive out there? If the answer is yes, then I say go for it. If you don’t limit yourself with doubt and disbelief the universe will always be on your side working in your favor. I truly believe that.

If I would have listened to everyone who told me I couldn’t do it then I’d still be back in my hometown with the rest of the miserables, and have missed out on all the crazy once in a lifetime opportunities this industry has given me.

  13. Most who are openly escorts on IG have a private page just to notify their clients of tour dates, etc.

otherwise, most instagram models are escorts or have their price lol. Just use the email in their bio section or send a DM.

  14. For some “shoppers” the tongue could be considered a major part of their decision process. I certainly appreciate the benefits that a large, flexible, and wet tongue can provide. With that said, in photographs like the ones you’ve provided here, I admit it does appear a bit juvenile, and looks more like these guys just didn’t know what else to do in the selfie, so they did the only thing they could think of at the moment and stuck it out. The one on the bottom though, his tongue looks like it could really cover some area! That’s a big, healthy tongue that could be put to great use!

I did have a client once request a picture of me sticking my toungue out before he would hire me. It was his biggest turn on. The photo was much like the second photo lol.

  15. Almost reached out to him to join a client of mine and myself in a session. I find the picture request to be disrespectful of the clients privacy, and un-necessary. Also not being able to have a normal phone conversation instead of text demonstrates a lack of professionalism. Call me old fashioned.

  16. In my personal vocabulary, you’re a trick. I started as a stripper and that’s just what we call you.. at least with my HP’s (hoe partners). Some people find offense to that so to your face, and on this forum I will call you a client. I just feel it sounds more professional anyways.

An escort finding offense to the word sex worker? They must be in denial or ashamed of what they’re doing. Sex work is an umbrella term I feel covers all areas of the industry. Porn, escorting, dancing, sugaring, cam models, phone sex operators, and even those bikini baristas.

Escort, hoe, prostitute, provider... call me anything you want just DONT call me a HOOKER. I hate that word so much. It’s cringey and trashy and to me a hooker is the equivalent of a blade hoe. If you don’t know what The Blade is... pretty much every city has one. Here in Houston, it’s bissonette. Portland Oregon, it’s SE 82nd, and in Seattle it is Aurora. Those are the girls and boys walking the street doing things for 20-80$. Survival sex work. The bottom end of the escort pyramid.

  17. ....I think that client who try to try to take off a condom without consent should be punished by law in a similar way to rapists.

It actually is considered sexual assault in some states and is punishable by law, I am not certain it is that way in all of the states though. Eventually we will get there. This is one of examples of why I collect my donation UP FRONT. If you pull this kind of stunt, you can count on me leaving (if it’s outcall) or being unwelcomed from my home immediately. I do not care if we are 10 minutes into our session, I don’t tolerate the disrespect. No refunds. Not sorry.

  18. Long story short, I was running from a broken heart and decided to fill the void with money and expensive things.

I did however learn through all of this that money can’t buy you genuine happiness, and you can only suppress your emotions for so long before you have no choice but to look them in the eye and heal them. Grateful for all the experiences this journey has given me, and the freedom it gave me to spend my free time alone to better understand myself. I truly wouldn’t be as whole as I am today without this experience. It’s almost crazy to think that an industry that gets such a bad rap has actually taught me so much self love.

  19. My favorite clients to do business with are respectful clients. Clients who are on time. Clients who do not ask for bareback repeatedly, because one ‘no’ should be enough. Clients who do not try to take the condom off when they think you’re not looking. Clients who do not open closed doors in my home without permission. Clients who use proper greeting/introduction when contacting me. Clients who do not make racist or other ignorant uneducated comments based on opinion. Clients who genuinely care about me. Clients who ask me what they can provide for our time together (I.e, drinks, snacks, etc.) and most importantly, clients who are just simply good energy to be around!

  20. I happen to agree with you that there is a space in this industry for managers who are very much not pimps. They take on the work of answering all the many messages, screening clients and particularly provide benefit if there are language issues. I also agree that control is the key distinguishing factor -- not the arranging of the clients.

However, you take it too far in proclaiming that none of us could really know what a pimp is. That's just silly. You don't have to be a drug addict to know what a drug dealer is. You don't have to have been molested to know what a pedophile is.

Thank you and allow me to make my point a little more clear. You’re absolutely right, of course you can know what a pimp is without first hand experience.

You don’t need to be a drug addict to know what a drug dealer is, but if you are you will have deeper and further insight of how to acquire drugs, sell drugs, and you will know many of the hidden risks and secrets involved in that walk of life and often times more than someone who is sober... because you experienced it first hand.

You don’t need to have been molested to know what a pedophile is, but if if you were you most likely have deeper understanding of what may have gone on in the mind of the person who assaulted you (assuming there was a prior platonic relationship) and how that plus other factors may have played a role in the situation.

So you’re right, you don’t have to have the experience or knowledge to know what a pimp is..... but do you really know? There is A LOT you wouldn’t know without experiencing it up close and personal. That’s what my intentions were with that statement. I’ve seen several uneducated assumptions on what a pimp is on this thread, and I guess to someone who knows how traumatic that lifestyle really is it does bother me that people are quick to assume with little to no education on the subject rather than asking questions.
