I came here in my mid 20s without speaking a word of English. I was able to go to college but still never lost the strong accent. Today I still have it and it shows in my grammar I guess. It will make sense that I won't elaborate the same way people born or/and raised in an English-speaking country does.

Well I am in my late 30s but don't really look it (or so most people say). I often get late 20s to early 30s. Not really socially awkard (bad word choice perhaps) but on the introvert side. It's situational though and depends on a lot of things. I am not usually shy when hooking up with somebody for example. I just don't like going to clubs and bars where you have to socialize a lot. At times I can get nervious. It's hilarious because most people can't tell unless they start knowing me for long.
