So yeah i don't disagree with your comments here but I'd think the issue isn't with starting a new thread with if anyone has any "411 with Provider xyz"? The issue seems to be more how posters respond to the thread with for examples you listed above. I agree those responses aren't helpful in answering if anyone had direct experience. I may be in the minority but I would think that of people visiting this site in whatever frequency, they don't immediately start a new post regarding a Provider who's never been mentioned and share their experiences unless highly negative or very highly positive. Again I may be in minority but the primary reason I post a new thread about a Profile (that has not been commented at all before), is to determine if anyone knows 1st hand whether that the profile is "real"

I just realized when I'm looking for recommendations I like it when the city is listed (in my city haha), as potential and has been mentioned before to help not waste time. However when i put out the "411", often I'm looking to see if profile name changed and/or if person has traveled and if others recognize Pic's thinking it cast a wider net of potential responses. There's also another nuanced possibility. When he reaches out "out of the blue", he could be testing the waters with a couple of clients he feels comfortable with and although he's asking how you're doing and how was weekend etc.., the more direct answer he could be fishing for isn't actually the direct answer to the question of you saying something like, "oh it was great!
