  1. Howdy all! I’d love to get some recommendations for guys in NYC (any borough) to see for great therapeutic work. Extras are nice but optional…who should I go to when I really need an excellent massage first and foremost? I’ve been away from the city for the past two years and need to refresh my go-to list of skilled guys. Thank you!!!

  2. Hi -- I'd like to ask the forum for recommendations for therapists who do *really excellent* therapeutic work. For a variety of reasons I'm not looking for sensual right now (it's ok if it happens, but it's not my primary goal). But I'd really like to find some guys who are gay-friendly and give top-level deep tissue massages.

My go-to guy is Chris, if that helps set expectations. He is fantastic, but lately I'm looking to branch out.

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere. I tried searching but only found fragments of the information I'm looking for.

    Thank you!!!

  3. Going to him was a bit unusual for me, since I generally go for masseurs advertising erotic, but I wanted a good legit therapeutic massage, and his website looked professional. The massage, which lasted for over an hour was excellent. He's definitely trained.

    Thanks!

  4. I used to take Joschi's nude yoga classes before he closed his studio on 23rd Street -- he's an excellent, precise, attentive yoga instructor, and I'm sad that he's not offering group classes at the moment. I haven't experienced his massage technique, but my educated guess is that he delivers as high a quality experience as his yoga.

  5. I tried Pierre once and in my experience, he's more accurately an escort who calls himself a massage therapist. This isn't unusual of course, but what is out of the ordinary is the extent to which he puts himself out there as a trained masseur and the corresponding extent to which reality does not meet with that presentation. It's a real caveat emptor situation with him...

  6. Hi squiggles. You mentioned Isaac but the link is for Charles? Is this the same person? I already reached out to Charles as I was quite intrigued so hoping you can confirm.

Isaac & Charles are one and the same!

  7. I tried AJ once when I used to live in his neighborhood. Once. My experience wasn't as dramatic as the OP's but there's definitely something off about him -- no skill or massage talent , no sensuality, and kind of a rotten personality. The goods were not as advertised.

  8. Hi - for an alternative take on Eric, here are some comments I left on an older thread: https://m4m-forum.org/threads/nyc-recommendations.73658/page-2#post-1403390

Sorry to dredge up this thread from the deep, but I wanted to add that I saw Eric recently and came away feeling disappointed, which is sad because I totally go for the strong daddy types. Eric isn't a trained massage therapist and the lack of technical proficiency is evident in his work. He also has what I would characterize as a forced sensuality -- it's like he tries hard to connect but it never really lands. He works out of a shared space which is perfectly nice but the massage room is right off the waiting area and you can hear activity coming and going in the lobby, which was also a bit of a mood killer. So, not a tragic experience but I ended up feeling like it was a lot to pay for just an okay hand job.
