I believe this is definitely not a violation, unless the regulations state that a student must have been granted a visa before they set foot on U.S. soil. Of course, if it was a school the U.S. itself set up, it appears that they were entrapped into the crime.

Just a couple of questions. Would they qualify for valid visas or some other exemption such that they would be eligible to be in the U.S. once they enrolled in the fake U.S.? Did they attempt to enroll in student visas or some such exemptions?

In his profile on RM he seemed to indicate he was located in Chicago but now it has a "traveling" symbol next to where he is. Anyone know if he is in fact located in Chicago? I always find RM confusing on that issue. Was wondering if he ever got back to you? He had been out of town (if he was in fact located full time in Chicago) so I thought perhaps he needed some time to get back to you as his profile showed him out of town.
