Wondering if anyone’s experience is anything within miles of the story we’ve seen in movies: of a young, muscular man, often shirtless, who glistens in the sun as he works and is either ogled by or outright pursued sexually by older pool goers or owners. ring a bell in anyone’s real life? I worked at a pool once and I gotta say that the lives of those pool “attendants” were absolutely nothing like that (they actually had to do pretty dehumanizing things at times, ie clean the bathrooms) Interested in anyone’s own experience tho!
