I watched the DC Pride Parade on Saturday and I was surprised at how long the parade lasted. Participants included elementary schools, every progressive church, every multinational corporation interested in making a buck on us. I guess it’s progress that everyone wants to participate in the parade but in “my day” we had scantily clad men, drag queens, the porn stars, local politicians, and leading the parade the dykes on bikes And we liked it!

Simplicity works better in a flag. New Mexico has it right

I don’t get that either. Unless you are not picking up after your dog or you are not paying attention when your dog acts aggressively there is no reason to say anything. My experience has been the opposite. I’ve made great friends at the park

I take my dog to the park regularly. I love seeing him off leash, running and playing with dogs. It’s worth the risk.
