  1. Yup. Just saw him tonight. That was my experience as well. He's from Shanghai originally. Cute kid, maybe 24 or 25.
  2. I think the extras depend on the person. If there's sexual chemistry/attraction, then it does happen. For me, it's the thrill factor at legit places. But most of the time, it's a therapeutic massage. Some therapists will go to the brink to show you that they might be interested in doing more if you become a regular customer.
  3. People think of SF as a big city, but with 850K people, it's a fraction of the population of NYC, Chicago, and LA. That said, the spa scene is limited to certain days of the month. Banya has a men's night on the third Tuesday of the month. It's good naked fun!
  4. If someone could PM me about your experience with Jeff, that would be greatly appreciated. Will be in DC this spring. Thanks!
  5. Agree with Rafa and his request was totally reasonable. Part of being a world-class athlete in an individual sport is making sure you don't put the body through unnecessary risks, like exposing yourself to extreme heat. That's why marathon runners don't run in the middle of the day. Nole and Gael are highly conditioned athletes, but both were looking very sluggish and dehydrated on the court. It's unfair to both the players and spectators.
  6. I'd definitely take a look at the resources that KennF posted.
  7. Some guys experience very minor side effects when they first start taking Truvada. But generally, it's a very well-tolerated drug. I've never experienced any side effects in the 2 years I've been taking it. I would encourage you to get on the Truvada regimen, if you are sexually active and have concerns about contracting HIV. I personally think it's a game changer. If you are with a positive guy who takes his meds regularly and his viral load is undetectable, there is very little chance of getting HIV if you bareback. In fact, these are the least likely men to pass on HIV to another man. Of course, you can still catch everything else, like syphilis, so condoms are still a good idea if you have several partners.
  8. Yes, I would highly recommend it. I'm fortunate enough to have a service in my area specifically for the LGBTQ community. They offer a sliding scale for services so they try to accommodate everyone. For me, it helped improve my self-awareness (i.e. how much actions and behaviors affect others, my relationships), addressed past issues of sexual abuse, and gave me strategies for dealing with stress and depression. After a year of therapy, I started meditating and changed my diet, both of which improved my sex life. Therapy isn't magic, but it gets you to start looking at yourself in a different way, which is the catalyst for change.
  9. I didn't like bottoming for many years because I didn't know how to prepare for it. Of course, the guys in porn made it look so easy. Changing my diet (fish, light carbs & veggies only) and practicing with large dildos have made the biggest difference. So for me, it was a lifestyle change.
  10. I have a lot of internalized homophobia, which I've been working through for most of my life. I've been out since my teens, but it wasn't until my 40s when I became 100% confident having sex with men.
  11. Anything but a face lift, which I can spot a mile away.
  12. There are no cameras in the actual massage rooms for the same reason there are no cameras in public toilets and dressing rooms.
  13. Lots of good tips on this board. I'd say being vegetarian with some light carbs works best for me. They go through my system smoothly without upsetting the intestinal walls too much. I usually don't have to wipe up a lot because everything goes out cleanly.
  14. He's grown into his looks and looks much better with a beard. Face-wise, I like Grigor Dimitrov and Borna Coric. Rafa Nadal has a nice ass, among other body parts. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/09/20/article-2039687-0DFC1FCD00000578-836_634x443.jpg
  15. Good to know. My family has a history of high blood pressure, mainly due to a very salty diet. So I'm pretty obsessed with my health and workouts. At 44, my heart is probably still in good shape. But I'm less active in the steam room these days, maybe once a week. In my 20s and 30s, I spent hours in there. I've always thought the temperature in most steam rooms is set way too high to the point the heat is burning your skin. There hasn't been a steam room I've been in that seems to get the balance right. Must be hard to regulate.
  16. I'd say that 80% of my sexual experiences have happened in a steam room. I'm not sure if that's hot or sad
  17. The super hot ones and the ones with huge cocks. I'll never forgot what one guy said when I was getting ready to suck him, "Are you sure you're ready for this?"
  18. Yeah, stereotypes are a funny thing. Sometimes they're true and other times not. I think the truth becomes more clear when these types of guys become part of one's dating pool.
  19. McDonalds' breakfast sandwiches and Jack in the Box's fajita pita were my favorites back in the day. I've been a pescatarian for the last 10 years, but I occasionally crave fast food!
  20. The struggle is real! It's better than it used to be, but I agree it's an unspoken reality in the gay community. Growing up, I think "Long Duk Dong" (played by Gedde Watanabe in the '80s classic Sixteen Candles) did a lot of damage to emasculate the Asian American image. But I'm encouraged there are more Asian American characters in TV and film these days, and even some good looking ones in leading roles. By the way, your "no fats, no fems, no Asians" tagline reminded me of the brilliant Kim Chi.
  21. I'll be Honolulu in December, so this is good to know. Thanks!
  22. Kind of already know the answer, but if anyone's been there recently and has any massage recommendations, please share. Heading there next week.
  23. Nothing wrong with the sentiment. It just doesn't make grammatical sense. It should be "I hope you're doing well." An email can't find anything.
  24. Yeah, I work with sales people and they are constantly sending me email. This is often how they start off their messages.
