I had the best hires from Craigslist! I do realize I was very lucky though. I live in a military and my God, those poor Navy boys would line up at my front door... Oh those were the days.

I will fly guys in that I have previously hired on my travel dates. Yes, flying someone in that you have not met before is a high-risk endeavor IMHO. I would also feel more comfortable sticking with flying in an older provider if I was going blind. I have had a guy that I had met twice previously fuck me over and scammed me out of money. Lesson learned. Be smart, think twice and good luck!

Did the same here and very scary, at least in my area. Oh well, I guess I'll stick to flying people in or hiring while I'm on business out of town.
