I’m returning to NYC next week for the first time in a few months and want to treat myself to a massage.
 
What are the top suggestions for either Latino, white or black masseurs? I prefer younger, athletic, smooth...but flexible on those, they are simply my preferences
 
My usual go to is Asian which is why I am looking to mix it up this time.

I tried out Shangri-La for the first time yesterday and thought I would report back. The space is really nice - clean and classy and feels like an upscale spa when you are in there. Fresh flowers and all. The room that I was in was also deforated really nice and was spacious and I was immediately offered a drink, slippers, robe etc.
 
The owner (I assume was the owner) was really welcoming and friendly when I arrived and got me organized in my room.
 
My massage was with Rodrigo. He was honestly such a nice guy, checked on the pressure and temperature to make sure that I was comfortable and relaxed. He was very friendly, gave a good massage, and was also very handsome. I would definitely recommend Rodrigo if you go to this place.
 
The pricing definitely is a little steep, but it’s a totally different experience from visiting some of these other spas that are dingy and dirty feeling and way more cramped. So if you want more of a spa type experience, this place is worth the extra $.

You must mean Ariel. Looks a bit like John Snow from Game of Thrones (but with shorter hair)?
 
He can have a very different behaviour depending on the customer.
Some people were very, very happy, ask @TopVolt. I was not impressed, but ok. My husband was extremely disappointed.

Besides the fact that this dude on the table is close to perfection, watching the clothed masseur start to poke out in his shorts makes everything inside of me tingle. I would kill to massage this dude.

By recommendations or experiences do you mean with extracurriculars or just a good massage?
 
If you’re seeking extracurriculars, I also find it rather stimulating to go to a place where extras are not expected but possible.
 
I went to a place on 9th ave where extras were not part of the deal, yet laid there on my back fully erect hoping for something... nothing occurred but the masseur didn’t seem bothered either. That was also kind of hot.
