The red baseball caps spelling out what MAGA means in all honesty is a clever political gimmick. It is too bad idiots take the expression as a justification for racism and intolerance of people with alternate sexual tastes. Hate speech should be an aggravating factor in this deplorable assault. Hate speech is beyond politics and all right thinking people should abhor the supposed justification that these people are exercising their freedom of speech.

I have noticed several escorts promoting bare back. To me, that would be a turn off but I guess some other guys find it appealing. To me it is playing Russian Roulette.

I think he problem arises with first time appointments. I've cancelled with my regular escort for sickness and he has cancelled on me because he was ill. I had little knowledge of Freddy Mercury since I am not really a music fan. I became interested in Freddy Mercury when I visited the Montreux Riviera on Lake Geneva a few summers ago. There is a huge bronze statue of Mercury holding a microphone shaft in his left hand and his right fist in the air. Even years after his death, people still adorn the statue with freshly cut flowers. I, therefore, liked the movie because it gave me background on the man and the group as well as entertaining me with a version of the LiveAid concert that is really a concert to conclude the movie. I liked Malek who took over the role from Sasha Baron Cohen and the direction of the movie even though the named director was fired halfway through.

As @Ajac said, make up on a man can be offputting (unless you are dead). I once did a TV spot then had to rush to an appointment without removing the makeup. You can imagine the stares I received.

I realize the epidemic proportion of opioid addiction. I was wondering if anyone sensed the writers were trying to get back on Barr for claiming to be on Ambien when she made her racist remark.

How about Manny's little brother (I can't recall the kid's name) . I can't stand that little brat.

Does anyone really believe that killing of the title character because of opioid overdose was related to Barr's racist remark that she was on Ambien?

I just watched the first episode of The Connors. I found it much funnier now that Roseanne Barr has left. I am very glad she is gone.

I recently chatted with the superintendent of a local cemetery. He said sales of plots are way down. Younger people are opting for cremation and spreading ashes on lakes, rivers or special green spaces. Local funeral home business is also in decline because fewer people are opting for casket and visitation. Increasing in popularity is green burial where there is no embalming and burial is in a body wrapped in a shroud.

I posed the question of how the younger generation regarded same sex hook ups in modern China while touring Beijing. The tour guide made it clear that younger Chinese found absolutely no fault with homosexuality. This also sounded like the answer meant for tour guides to deliver. So I asked how he, the tour guide, would react if another guy showed sexual interest in him. At that point all hell by way of homophobic reaction was expressed. On the surface. China is extremely modern and even ultra capitalist but scratch the surface and traditional values bubble up.

Why do we continue to think in binary terms. It has been shown that the number of people who are exclusively straight are as few as the number of guys who are exclusively gay. The rest of us fall somewhere on a continuum somewhere between the two extremes. When someone identifies as totally straight, first of all I am skeptical. Usually the proclamation of straightness is based on societal pressures based on homophobia or because of strict religious doctrines. In such cases I believe such people are not only boring but misguided as well.
