I would have loved to have seen Stritch at Libery live. I own the DVD. I have to wonder about the part about the Golden Girls though since she said she tried out for a CBS show and Golden Girls was on NBC. I was fortunate enough to see her live in A little night music with Bernedette Peters. I saw it with the original cast of Angela Lansbury and Cahterine Zeta Jones and wasn't something I wanted to see again but wanted to see those two together, they should have done a rerelease of the cast recording, those two were a lot better. Drowsy was great. I love Sutton Foster (I think it was her first show after Thoughly Modern Millie). Also saw it in West End because Elaine Paige was in it.

I'm surprised at the people on here that didn't like cats. The movie wasn't good but loved the musical. Memory by Betty Buckley is one of my favorite songs and would have loved to have seen it with her in it. My one cat Tugger is named after a character in Cats I liked.

I saw it in Chicago pre Braodwaying a nd was very disappointed. Reason I went was because I love Andrew Lloyd Weber and after I bought the tickets found out the Trib called it a disaster and I was surprised it made it to broadway. I didn't walk out of the show but thought about it. Starlight was a lot better than Stephen Ward though. I heard Love Never fails was also a flop, Weber used to be great but his musicals lately have all sucked. Weber wrote his own musical of Cinderella that was suppose to have opened this year in the West End. Who knows if that will happen, hopefully it's better than the last few musicals he's written.

Stephen Ward. Huge disappointment and went to see it in London since I was always a huge fan of Andrew Lloyd Weber. Music was awful and we left at intermission. It only last in the west end about six months and never made it to the USA. My hotel is only a couple doors over from the theater and the show the preceeded it was there for a couple years and Beautiful was the show that took over for Stephen Ward and was there a few years and the Tina musical has been there the past couple years. This was a musical that should have never been made and can't believe Weber would write something that awful.

I love the play that goes wrong and also the bankrobbery that went wrong and I was a third play similar to it in London. The company that produced those plays has an entire season on broadway HD. If you like broadway HD I would recomend watching Great Performances on PBS. Lea Selonga has a great concert she did at Sydney Opera House and she has this gay nurse sing a Whole New World with her and he totally lost it when he was selected to sing with her. Also the Anne Richards play and Driving miss daisy are part of it.
