I totally agree with what is being said about not adjusting your business model based on one (or even a few) bad apples. I would be upset at first too, if it happened to me. But I try to look at the net benefit I enjoy from this enterprise, and if I am getting what I want out of it or seeing the overall results I am hoping for, I would consider that type of occurance just a cost of doing business.

I have not. I have turned down more than a couple of offers of two escorts/one client though. Doesn't really interest me. True. Just as it is rare that any of my potential clients has a problem with my MO, it is rare that anyone on here does either. The only reason I shared a new thought on the subject is because someone new just commented on it. It still surprises me that anyone at all would take offense to the way I do things, but it hasn't had a negative impact on my business, so, as I said, it's all just theoretical.

Seems like forever since I was posting in this thread. I did have a new take on it though. My rates are for time spent only, so I would not reject a client because of age or because he will not provide stats and either a pic or meeting in advance. I just would not commit to any sexual activity as part of the appointment. Fortunately, this is really all theoretical, because the cases where a potential client thinks I should commit to some kind of sexual encounter with no idea what he looks like is extremely rare. I can't even think of the last time someone said no when I asked and at least 90% unhesitatingly send me a pic once they feel comfortable with me. A potential client refusing is rare enough that when it happens, I am not losing anything by simply saying that I don't work that way and booking another client instead.

Hahaha! My motto is never reduce your fee. I would rather lose a potential client than start negotiating the value of my services on a case by case basis. If my fee feels expensive to them, I worry that, at any amount, they are spending money they can't afford to spend anyway. And the worst feeling I could ever leave a client with is regret! That is also the reason I often hesitate to do "right now" requests from new clients.

Ridiculous! Any escort who would say that is one to run away from fast. He has no idea of the importance of relationship building with clients. When he starts asking for extra money for things that are generally part of a sexual encounter, in my view, he is not respecting the client.

The first and last one are bizarre, but the 2nd one I say very often when I have to leave a conversation to go to the gym, because it is true. It's not the only reason I go to the gym, but I am certainly thinking about looking hotter for my clients when I work out.

It's nice that you can ask for age but all hell breaks loose, when I comment that I do as well. I wonder why they think you have a right to prefer older men. Shouldn't you also love Good to know. I am not putting down escorts who don't ask for that information. It just blows my mind that some guys actually think that being in this business means signing away any control over it. If I am happy with how business is going and don't mind losing clients who prefer a different approach, why would that cause anyone to become hostile? Very confusing.

I understand that some guys are not comfortable with that so I do offer the option of meeting in person over coffee or something. A client, of course, has the option to find an escort who will accept any client without any conditions, but to say that an escort should have no say in who his client is sounds demeaning. Why should it be the only occupation that does not get to decide which clients are a good match for them? Mutual respect should be a part of any encounter.
