New guys charging $200 an hour are non-starters for me. I might, just might, go for someone charging $200 an hour, but only IF they charge LESS than $300 for 90 minutes and have great reviews here. Yes, they will likely end up with $300 but that has to include the tip. My gold standard is Andrew. If someone so hot and doing a great job can charge less than $200 in NYC of all places, then I refuse to pay more. They are a couple or maybe even cousins. I got a massage from Albert and it was a non-repeat, the worst part was that their "studio" is in the back of a house where a family lives. I was just exchanging messages with a visitor who has a brand new ad on rentmasseur. It turns out he charges $200 an hour but his rate for 90 minutes is $240, which I think is acceptable, so I asked him for the address. I was shocked to discover on Google maps that it is an absolute dump in a sketchy part of town, WTF?! So, you have no history or reviews, you rate is pushing it, and you expect me to go to a place where I won't be comfortable or even feel safe, SERIOUSLY?! It's like going to an expensive French restaurant located under a freeway overpass and being given paper plates and plastic forks. The dude is either clueless or a scammer. It is Business 101 that service or product providers need to leave some VALUE on the table in order to get the client to return for more. With the exception of those who are so good that they are difficult to book, I see dudes charging $200 as extractors of more than what they actually provide and don't even think about repeat business. If this is the case, it's better to stay away, no matter how hot their pix seem.

These are escort rates, I am not sure what I'd expect. It could be anything between something awesome and a hot scammer extracting money from clients smitten by his good looks. Remember to use your big head. Always 😉

It turns out that that the two masseurs from Tampa that I referenced above have reduced their rates to $160 for therapeutic only. If you want erotic it is still $200 for an hour and $300 for 90 minutes. Oh, well, I am still holding the line. I can get top quality therapeutic massage for $100 and I actually PREFER to be massaged by someone I don't find attractive in that case.

I am torn. The experience is probably worth it given the overwhelmingly positive feedback here, but I've been resisting the move up to $200 an hour as a matter of principle. Especially when masseurs with no or mixed record try to go there. I see it as my civic duty 🙂

How were the sensual elements? With those rates, I'd expect him to be totally comfortable with nudity & MT. His rate for 90 minutes is insane. If he hates doing it so much, he shouldn't offer it. Another explanation could be that more sensuality is offered with longer appointments, but I doubt it. In any case, I avoid the flaky ones. Massage is about relaxation and enjoyment. Annoyance while scheduling or not knowing how the masseur will behave during the appointment is a major mood killer for me.

I reached out to him hoping to schedule 90 minutes with nudity and MT, and he quoted me something that was way, way more than what I expected based on his rates on MF. Yeah, he is hot, but not THAT hot, and I declined as a matter of principle. He doesn't have any reviews on Rentmasseur despite having an ad for over 3 years, perhaps that's not surprising? I am not saying that personal chemistry cannot be right for good things to happen, I am saying proceed with caution. BTW, his partner wasn't a great experience, so I guess that helped me skip this one.

Texted him about his rates for 90 minutes and he was careful to stress that it was all purely therapeutic. If he can get enough business for purely therapeutic at $150 an hour power to him!
