This is helpful - thanks. When did the Raven stop offering private dances? I went last fall. Of course, I was busy talking with one of the hottest dancers about a private show in my hotel room across the street, rather than a private dance at the Raven :-)

Hi - I like Stock Bar - and I would like to be able to send links via text or email to friends, from my phone. However, on my iPhone, the Stock website always seems to default to mobile version, without giving me a choice. So I cannot send a friend a link to the page that contains all of the dancers' sample (fast stage) videos. I WAS able to view a direct link on my phone after I emailed it from my desktop/laptop computer - for example, http://www.stockbar.com/en/dancers/chris#chris. (I am hoping to see Chris, Fabio and Mike, among others -- Mike is totally my type! -- when I return in about a month.) And I am hoping I will be able to share the sample (fast stage) videos with friends from my phone to encourage them to visit as well. :-) (PS for anyone else reading - I can say from experience that Charles and Ryan are also hot in person.)

One thing I had not heard before my first visit to à Montréal gay strip club: apparently it’s considered rude or lame to have only one song’s worth of private dance with a guy. So now I usually do at least 2 if I go back with one of them, and I try to make sure that I’ve seen them in action on stage &/or talked with them enough to know that it will probably be worth it :-)

I was reading another Montréal thread last night & some of you made the good point that “straight but open” dancers can be as much fun - or more - than gay or bi ones. So I guess what I really meant was: where are the friendly dancers these days / are there any dancers who are really hot-looking but not that fun or friendly?

I’ve never been to Taboo since twinks aren’t really my thing, but if they have some muscle-y guys, I might have to check it out... Of course I know to look at Stock’s website to see who’s dancing there these days Are the dancers more inhibited when you do the $10-per-song open-curtain thing? I’ve always gone for the $20 closed-curtain private dances lol I will say that I generally prefer dancers who are gay or bi, if anyone has scuttlebutt on that point...

I’m going back to Montreal for a much-needed vacation for almost a week at the end of May/start of June. Is Lux still open? (I wasn’t impressed the one time I went, but things change.) Do many of the hottest dancers at Campus still keep their pics off the website? Any locals want to hit a club together some evening? (or afternoon, lol) I’m American but my français is decent. Mid-40s, often guessed younger, and a gym regular. (Not that anyone will confuse me for one of the dancers )

You went to a hockey game with 3 dancers from Stock? Would it be ok to ask how much you spent on dances with them? I’ve gotten phone numbers (and met up with away from the club) from a couple different Campus dancers over the years, after spending probably C$200 or more on each of them.

Going to Montréal on Tuesday and hoping the ATMs are well-stocked, haha :-)

I wasn't impressed with Lux last fall. A friend who also goes to Montreal had a better time there, though.

I got a couple of lap dances from Charles at Stock a few months after he won Stock Idol. (Hot.) I should have asked him "so how did you win? Can you show me?"

Tucker looked very hot (better than his pic on the Campus website) but I didn't get to have a lap dance from him. I intend to fix that next month :-)

Actually I'm thinking of "Samuel," who may not be the same as "Sam," if memory serves. Lol

I'm loving these detailed posts - thanks so much for taking the time to write them! Is Campus still doing 2-for-price-of-1 lap dances from 3-5 pm? (They were last year.) I wonder if Jay is the same dark-haired handsome soccer hunk who looks a bit like a young Freddie Prinze Jr. Sam may be my favorite (about 5'7", dark-haired, seeing a pattern, anyone? Lol) but we've kept in touch and he's dancing mich less often these days.

That said, he's got a good face & body. Which I hope he doesn't hide with more tattoos

I don't think Campus still has curtains in the back, does it? I don't recall but I always go for full touch $20 per song anyway, lol
