Dakota, like several others I give you credit for reading this stuff, chilling and not responding defensively. I do hope one of your take-aways is to see just how POWERFUL words can be, in this case your words! I think that's because they trigger feelings and memories. Maybe you didn't intend to hurt feelings, just state a preference openly and honestly. In your ad, you describe yourself as a nice guy and I give you that benefit of the doubt. But in a country where there is as much racism as here, words can hurt even when that's not the intent.

 

Sorry if this sounds sort of parental. You haven't asked for advice -- who the hell am I to offer it, right? I get that. This is just a hope that you think about your words as you go about your business because my gut feel is that you truly are a nice guy.

Wow! First of all I gotta give it to Dakota for sticking up for himself on here. Second, I think the comparison of an escort's services to those of a lunch counter shows a lack of respect for the escorts providing the services. They provide a very personal, customized service. Lawyers and accountants provide personal services too and they can pick and choose who they would represent or who's taxes they would do. I guess all you guys bashing Dakota would or have dated another black/Asian/Latino/Hispanic guy even if you weren't attracted to them. You're all just so politically correct that you don't have preferences in who/what you find attractive.

 

Dakota is a nice guy. As much as I'd like to keep him all to myself, he does provide an excellent experience. As far as nobody looking like client B contacting him, I'll say I look a lot more like client b than client a and we still had a great time.

Dakota, I don't hesitate to says that you are especially good looking with a wonderful body. When your Rentmen profile is read you come across as sexually open and willing to adapt to various situations. However, as everyone has noted your ad blanketing asks that no black gentlemen contact you. For me, that makes me worry that you may not be interested in meeting me, a middle-aged guy. I know it will be difficult (and I'm not sure in general how we exercise our right to see who we desire) however your outright refusal to see black clients does not make you look good (in my opinion).

No matter where you live, you cannot deny service to someone because of his or her race, color, religion, national origin or disability. In some states and cities, you also cannot discriminate against people because of their sexual orientation. If there is no state, federal or local law prohibiting discrimination in public accommodations against a particular group of people, then you can legally refuse to serve that group of people.

 

Bigots can find a way around it: "I'm not refusing you service because you are black, only because you are wearing open-toed shoes." But good luck with that in the long run.

So I emailed Dakota and got access to his private photos (all 16!), which are all of the same guy and all very hott. If he is using borrowed pix, he has accumulated a treasure trove of them, I must say. His email responses are polite and affirmative but conclusory--which is not necessarily a red flag but is not as helpful as they might be.
