I want to thank everyone who has shown their support in response to my post. Reese did in fact contact me today, claiming to be sorry and that he is "not the kind of person" he showed himself to be with those messages. But if you, like me, are a gay man with an understanding of the history of AIDS and its decimation of so many of our brothers, you will understand my outrage. This man does not deserve a dime from any one of us. It's time that we stop giving cisgendered, straight men our business and our attention just because they fit a physical ideal we have been engrained to put above all else. I am tired of men like this. I am tired of being "baby" until I am determined unprofitable, until I am a "homo," a "queer." I am DONE.
