There are many, the first one I watched when I was 19 at a movie theatre in Italy was Midnight Express, I went with my sister and I will never forget my inner reaction and a mixture of owe and embarrassment at the shower touching and kiss scene!
But I am surprised (unless I am wrong) nobody mentioned Making Love (1982)
I was in my early 20s, in a very important and decisive moment of my life when I decided to come out to all my straight friends in Italy, after I did it to my family. I went by myself to the movie theatre, when they showed it on TV (yes! In Italy!) I remember that I taped it and few days later I gathered a few close friends at home and asked them to watch it on VHS.
