Just finished watching the last episode of season 2 as well as the movie. My god, that Dom actor aged like 15 years from the first episode of season 1 to the movie!

Have been binge watching Looking these couple days. I like the series and find it charming. Too bad it got awful ratings and didn't last that long. This is also the first time I have ever watched Russell Tovey play a role. I have to say I am not that impressed with him being an actor. Kevin was a juicy role, but I just feel Russell Tovey's performance was rather flat and one-noted. Even his facial expression can be wooden sometimes, especially against Jonathan Groff. Of course he is cute with those flappy dumbo ears. How tall is he by the way?
On the other hand, Jonathan Groff's Patrick was so much livelier. He commanded the screen. I also like the role of Richie. The actor, Raul Castillo, is not that classically handsome (though still hot), but the more you watch Richie, the more you like him. His performance had depth.
The best looking guy in the show is Dom.

I am not really a public sex kinda guy, but you never know. Hahaha. Seriously speaking, I just need a place that I can hang out comfortably for 2-3 hours in the afternoon before heading to the airport. The extra spa fee is kind of a buzzkill, but it might still be worth it for 30 bucks.

Just looked up my hotel, Mirage, online. It seems they have a separate spa and gym. And to my surprise, it lists a spa access fee. I wonder if it's waived for guests?

So they will for sure loan me a robe/sandals/towels then? Another big concern is will they have a safe/locker for me to use? I will have my wallet and all the important stuff with me. -
I will be visiting Vegas in a few weeks and will be staying at a big Strip hotel. As I will have a night time flight on the way back, I am thinking about spending the afternoon before my flight in the hotel health club/gym. I have my own monthly gym membership for work-out at home. So I almost never visit a hotel gym/health club to work out when I travel. And this time, I am also not planning to actively exercise there, but rather just want to relax and hang out, as I will have already checked out of my room. And no, I will not be there to "cruise." So my silly question is: should I wear sneakers and gym clothes? Or can I just wear plain street clothes going in and take them off later on? Will there be lockers for me to store my stuff? I basically know nothing about how those big hotel health clubs operate.

This might be a sensitive topic, but I wonder if it's considered rude to ask an escort for his HIV status? Even with safe sex, I guess there is still some, albeit minor, risk, right? What is the trend now in terms of medication and prevention? If the guy is on PrP, then I guess there is no infection risk. Is that correct? What if a guy is positive but with viral load undetectable? Does it still have infection risk?

God's Own Country
in Movies

I just watched God's Own Country on Netflix and found the film deeply moving. It's more of a coming of age movie about a young man's realization of love and affection. People compare it to Brokeback Mountain. I personally prefer this one much more. (And I have to admit that for whatever the reason, the film Brokeback Mountain didn't touch me at all.) And it's also much grittier, more raw, and, at least in my eyes, more erotic, than Call Me by Your Name. Of course it helps a great deal that the second lead, Gheorghe, is very cute, with those big sad eyes.
Normally I find Eastern European guys a bit too cold for my liking, but this guy is very sensual.
