  1. Does anyone have any experience with GuyWoof before the price hike? He’s now charging $1,000 for 90 minutes?! "This is a premium offering — intentionally priced to reflect that. It’s not for everyone, and it’s not meant to be. I don’t negotiate, and I don’t explain the value to those who don’t already feel it." GuyWoof - Male Massage & Bodywork in New York City, NY | RentMasseur RENTMASSEUR.COM Gay Masseur GuyWoof in New York City, NY offering a wide range of massages ⭐ experienced in therapeutic, sensual, swedish, hotStone, deepTissue.
  2. I’m a bit confused. I don't remember saying he’s not in his 40s or 50s. My review was about my experience with him (then vs. now) and thoughts on his physique and my own. I pointed out that if you’re saying he looks like he’s in his 40s based on his physique, one could easily counter that by asking...if you’re in worse shape than him, does that make you older? See how flawed that logic is? I know we could pull up many photos of masseurs and escorts in their 40s (and even older) who have much better physiques than he does, so that's why it's a moot point. His admission of being in his 40s on that site is irrelevant to anything I said. Still, I acknowledge that your math was correct, even though I never disputed that point. I received a few massages from him over 15 years ago, and I'm younger than he is, so I’m well aware of how much time has passed, how much he’s aged, and how old I am. Again, calling him out on his age and honesty is fair—that’s why I didn’t speak to any of that. But, ok, he's in his 40s, so...what now?
  3. Here's my take... I’ve had two massages with David since his return, and I also received massages from him over 15+ years ago in NYC. People grow and evolve, and I believe everyone is allowed a little bit of grace after such a long period of time. David is a kind and genuinely wonderful person. He's also so goddamn sexy lol. I’ve enjoyed every session since reconnecting. While I agree that he used to be a bit more reserved 15 years ago, that’s no longer how I’d describe him. He’s articulate and thoughtful, and I appreciate our conversations before and after the massage. It shows he’s interested in connecting with his clients on and off the massage table. Yes, he is straight/heteroflexible. That being said, his touch is electrifying, and I always leave feeling rejuvenated and happy. If you go into a session with a straight masseur expecting to be the exception, you will likely be disappointed. Over the years, I’ve had massages from straight/heteroflexible (and even gay men!) who were often cold or distant and rushed through the session to get me out the door. David is one of the few straight masseurs who provides a sensual, erotic massage where I feel entirely comfortable being vulnerable. As for his age and appearance, David is hot, and his physique is as impressive as ever. He’s got thick body hair, so if we still see his abs in that selfie, he's in very good shape. I'm in my 30s, so please don't say his physique is that of someone in their 40s, as that is what I look like when I eat well, lay off the wine, and lean up 😅. The masseurs who look photoshoot-ready all the time are typically on something. Having received massages from David both then and now, I can confidently say he’s still very much in his prime, and I’ll continue to be a repeat client while he is in NYC.
  4. I unlocked his private pics on RM and immediately recognized a photo of Diego Sans (by the body hair lol). I think we all can assume Diego wouldn't need/want to blur his photos to hide his identity on a site where he would greatly benefit from not hiding it. I also noticed that the face shape was different in a few images, so a few quick reverse image searches revealed that he uses photos of 3 different people/models - Diego Sans, some model, and then this guy. I would pass on this one.
  5. I don’t think anyone’s taking it too personally. This forum exists for people to discuss masseurs and experiences, which is exactly what we are doing. He chose to have Google Forms as part of his process, so we are chatting about it. There is no harm in that. Some don’t want to go through a "dog and pony show" just to be ghosted and potentially discriminated against, while others like yourself may not mind. Now, potential clients can see this discussion and decide for themselves. And as you said, there are much better looking amazing masseurs out there who don't ask potential clients for their personal social media accounts, so now others know they can move on if they were on the fence about reaching out to him. I browse this forum for helpful information just like this before booking with someone. If he can screen us, we can screen him. 😉
  6. I'd steer clear of this guy and his discriminatory practices. Asking someone to fill out a form and send over photos or social media info, only to ghost the potential client if he is not interested, is classic discrimination. It's one thing to ask for that information to get a sense of who they're meeting or to learn more about a new client, but using it to decide if they'll work with you or not is totally unacceptable. Also, it's pretty shady for him not to mention these requirements in his ad. He knows it's not ok.
  7. You are correct. It is "Leo," but I don't think it's a fake ad. I believe what we are seeing here is "Leo's" new account & name. He's made new accounts over the years and has changed names several times. We all know many masseurs do this after taking a break or if they have too many negative reviews, ha! I think it would be pretty ballsy to make a fake ad using photos of a masseur who works/worked in the same market.
  8. I don’t think the photos are real. The guy shown is an LA based Russian model. I just checked his instagram and he is currently in LA.
  9. I don’t necessarily believe that letting us know who the masseur is = emotional reaction. I think it’s a slippery slope to label it as such because one could argue that every review on here (positive & negative) is an emotional reaction to an experience. I.e. “I loved this masseur so I am going to write a review.” or “I had an awful experience with this person I hired, so I am going to let the community know”. Any negative review could potentially add stress and wreck a career. This forum is awesome because of the open and honest reviews and discussions. I do think that the word “outing” probably wasn’t the best term to use because it sounds vindictive, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with sharing an experience and letting others know who it is about. I honestly don’t care what the masseur is going through. Telling a client “I will remember you cancelling” shows that masseur’s true colors and I would never want to have someone I hire speak to me that way. It’s unprofessional and there are definitely other ways he could have handled the situation.
  10. Also wanted to add in that although there are average going rates for massages in each market, that doesn't mean it's the standard for everyone. When I see a masseur offering a massage for a little more than someone else, I don't assume it means that they offer more just because it's getting close to escorting rates. I assume that they are in high demand and have raised their rates so that they can make just as much, if not more, and give less massages. That should really be every masseur's goal..or really anyone's goal who offers any sort of a service where rates are flexible.
  11. I haven't received a massage from Alex in a while, but I've had a good amount of massages by him in the past. The massages were amazing and I always left very happy. He definitely exceeds all other expectations as a straight man serving the LGBTQ community. What more could you ask for? A lot of the masseurs some of us are used to are really just escorts who don't want to fully commit to it lol. Some are bi/gay men who like to have fun. Some are straight/bi/gay men who charge a premium for the fun. But then there are a ton of masseurs who are legitimate and offer amazing experiences whether they be therapeutic or erotic. The one thing we have to keep in mind is what they offer is totally up to them. What one offers shouldn't be an expectation for another masseur with regards to going beyond the original scope of a sensual massage. Never hurts to just discuss with the therapist beforehand if you're looking for something in particular. Alex has always been very calm and friendly. If you do find him cold, it could potentially just be a cultural thing. I never found him cold and we had a lot of great convos. I've come to accept over the years that if English isn't a masseurs first language, I don't really expect them to be super chatty. At the end of the day, we are paying them to give us a massage + whatever else they offer/you have discussed with them. Anything more than that shouldn't be expected unless you've developed some sort of rapport with the person and you have discussed it with them.
  12. Had a massage with George this past week. It was amazing! I almost forgot how different a really great therapeutic massage can feel if the person is trained and actually knows what he is doing. He is now part of my top 5 here in NYC. Other reviewers were correct when they stated that it's therapeutic only. I was a little worried about this because I've left frustrated in the past at a therapeutic massage. That being said, because I knew what I was walking into, I shifted my focus to just enjoying the great massage. I don't even think I got hard. If you're looking for a therapeutic massage, you should definitely check him out. Based on a few anecdotal experiences I have had with therapeutic only massages over the last 10 years, I never really feel that any of the masseurs on any of those sites are "strictly therapeutic". If it says that, I won't ask, hint for, or expect anything sensual/erotic but there is something inherently sensual about the entire experience. I've found that sometimes they may not do anything the first 2-3 times, but after they realize that you may potentially be a long time client of theirs, they may end up surprising you. If you're rock hard every session, they will know that you want that HE. They may open up more and add that to the experience if they want. That being said, I do know of someone people having experiences where they couldn't get someone to budge on that for years.
  13. Ive heard he is all over the place with regards to how the massage ends and can be mean about it if you try to discuss it with him. When I booked a massage with him, I unfortunately (just because I don't like to ask) asked him straight up what the massage entails because I don't want to pay someone the same rate as I would someone else for not that great of an experience. Anyway, he comes off as very masculine in his pictures, but he was super quiet and just a little too gentle for my liking. I don't want the masseurs to talk to me that much but seemed more like a transaction. He is very very nice, but I wouldn't see him again.
  14. Met with Jorge today at Shangrila. Also my first time going to a male spa here in NYC. My god... what have I been missing all of these years?! Hands down one of the best massages I’ve received in NYC.
  15. Everything I have been there, there has been fun going on. Yeah there is someone walking up and down the halls, but I mean I don't think they really do anything. Based on my experiences there, it seems like what it would be like to be in a sauna and steam room at a gym, but in this particular case, I think most people there are for fun and the people who aren't there for fun just ignore it or go to a different room. I didn't get a massage. I don't find the therapists attractive and they are always trying to offer you one, so they come off as pushy.
  16. You get a bit of everything. I think because its guaranteed fun which is rare in NYC, you get a very diverse mix of people. Something for everyone there. The mix of people sort of reminds me of the bathhouses in Montreal.
  17. Agreed. Several years ago, I was in between jobs and had a ton of free time to check out the scene at Equinox. I found that 1. Things always happened at Columbus Circle all throughout the day but slows down during rush hour. 2. Nothing really happens during rush hour at most of the gyms because of what sniper mentioned. Even if 80% of the guys are ready to go, it only takes 1 or 2 people not interested to mess things up. Just go to the Russian & Turkish Bath House on Sunday mornings during the men only hours for guaranteed fun.
  18. It’s been awhile since I’ve posted, but I saw this thread and figured I’d share my experience. Quick note: If you are thinking about booking with him, I would go ahead and do so this week because he moves to California on Thursday. He’s real and does look exactly like his pictures. Rate is what was mentioned above for the full combo. Massage is good, and he definitely knows what he’s doing. However, he asked for a picture of me during our first convo. Didn’t like that. When I arrived, I could tell that there was some sexual chemistry. That’s all fine but it started to get a little uncomfortable (message me for more details if you’d like). Finally, I cut the massage a little short for that reason.
  19. Woops! I meant to write a review earlier, but totally forgot. I met with Arsenity a few weeks back despite the negative review here. While he is not the most experienced massuer you'll meet on any of those sites, he definitely knew what he was doing/or at least knew enough for me to feel totally relaxed the entire time. It was a very pleasant experience. I agree with N13...7/10 is accurate. He looks just like his pics, and the extras were amazing. I will definitely see him again, but I just wanted to share my experience as well. The ONLY thing I didn't like about the massage was that he used some sort of a baby oil. Luckily I was home and could wash it off right away, but heavy oils like that can be a little gross if you can't shower and have to throw your clothes back on. I will add this.....I mentioned finding him on masseurfinder (tried to trick him lol) and he said he has never used that site. I also had him send me two finger selfies to prove it was him because I didn't want to deal with someone else showing up to my apartment. All checked out.
  20. Oh, and I hired him because 8 years ago he was really cute. He used the below pics in his ad, but he was slightly heavier when he showed up. Still cute though. 46d190dfa31db.jpg https://www.queerty.com/photos-jonesing-for-patrick-20100204 http://kaidutility.com/content/artisans/patrick_jones.jpg
  21. ^ What he said
  22. So, I actually received a massage from Patrick when I was in college about 8 years ago. Back then, his rates were reasonable (about 150-180). He was a handsome personal trainer at the time and was in pretty good shape. I think I hired him right before he kinda let himself go a little bit.... physically. I know that he's had some personal issues (won't get into that here) but I think that caused a lot of stress which in turn caused weight gain, bad skin, etc. I think these problems are also why he's charging so much (which doesn't even include travel?!?). Anyway, his massage was decent but not better than any massage I've recieved from some of the other guys advertised on that site. Also, it was super boring and very by the book. I was draped during the massage and had a hard on for most of it because I was a horny college kid and kinda turned on by the fact that he was in my dorm room. Haha! He accidentally touched it a couple of times and turned bright red. After the massage, he made a joke saying that it "looked like I really enjoyed the massage". I'd say what he offers is probably worth 80-100 bucks, so I don't think he has any right to be one of the most expensive therapuetic masseurs on that site.
  23. Haven't posted in quite some time but I just got a massage from Max based on these posts here and felt the need to give him some additional praise. He was awesome! It was probably one of the best deep massages I've received in NYC for that rate (it's worth a lot more). Like bencleve29 mentioned, he's definitely more handsome in person. He also made some funny jokes at the end as well. Ha. The naughty boy in me likes to just be exposed throughout the entire massage, but he does drape you with a towel. My god I've never been more turned on by having a towel draped over me. Haha! Its a very therapuetic massage with sensual element sprinkled throughout - just the way I like it.
  24. Honestly, I would consider hiring Andrew in NYC for a snuggle session. I would need to see more pictures of him though. Also...this is a straight site, right?
  25. Haha. Wasn't in the mood unfortunately.
