  1. You are right. I crossed that line. I regret k having done do
  2. Brutus, I am truly sorry. I was wrong. If anyone thinks I have not apologized for this mistake, I will repeat it. I still have a lot to learn. I'm sorry!
  3. TakeitDeep, I've listened, I'm listening, and will continue to listen and learn. I have NOT been editing each response as much as I would if I were doing this for purely academic purposes. If you think my syntax sounds smug, I take that to heart too. (Note to self, rewrite any section that seems smug.) I'm trying to do my best. I'm sorry.
  4. Baron, The thread is about a man supposedly named Rene. The post you are referring to is another post about an apparent scammer named George. These are totally different.
  5. Cruiser, That's exactly what I did last week. Hired by a first time client, the trust was extended both ways for a 5 day booking, and we all met our commitments perfectly. I'll add that with this first meeting excellent rapport was established. What may be a frightening prospect, can end up quite well. And it did.
  6. Cruiser, I stand by my apology, I didn't over think it. It felt like the right thing to do. It was pure of motive - I am sorry. I hear anger in your post, and maybe even a bit of 'beating a dead horse.' Okay, I'll accept a few extra slaps if you must. However, I think that any justifiable indignation might be directed more constructively by offering your thoughts about how a scenario like the one we had here could have been handled differently. I'm trying to do the best I can. Any effort in that direction would be greatly appreciated. What do you think?
  7. Builder, I recently spent 5 days with a client that I had never met. It went extremely well and we're already making plans to go on a second trip. I'm holding a Candlestick in hopes that you might change your mind:-) Bread crumbs
  8. Yes, I'm there often. Send me a text or email through my RM ad.
  9. Hey Naked, Check out this version:
  10. Naked, You had me at conflate, and have me thinking about the Rolling Stones song. ”I rode a tank Held a general's rank When the blitzkrieg raged And the bodies stank... Let me please introduce myself I'm a man of wealth and taste And I laid traps for troubadours Who get killed before they reached Bombay (Woo woo, who who)" I digress. But seriously, who wouldn't get steamed that they've added 'magical unicorns' to Lucky Charms? It's just wrong and somebody has to protest! Damn, now I'm conflating. Pass the Tums please.
  11. Harey, I appreciate that, but wait... You don't follow me!?!? I've never!!!!
  12. Golem, That's a scam, similar to numerous Nigerian scams that I've gotten before, and not the same person this thread is about. That number and post will remain, as others should be aware of it. If you wish, I can post the message he sent me. It is a completely different scenario. Notice that there is no picture. As far as "lovely" goes... I was not aiming for 'lovely'. But I'll take it provided you don't think it was Crate & Barrel or Pottery Barn 'lovely'. In that case, I have a boner to pick with you. Here it is (verbatim): +14156499870 - How are you doing today? My name is [potential client name removed by me] and i came across your ad on RentMen, i will like to be with you for a weekend. There have been others though who were incredibly clever, systematic, and persistent. Would you agree the post should stay? Do you think I should post the texts? Bread crumbs
  13. Thank you. I appreciate your kind words. A person who isn't able to be honest with himself is generally incapable of learning. I never want to be that kind of person. Here's how I see it: If one person was to call me a horse, I could say "Fuck you!" If two people were to call me a horse, I could say "Fuck you." But if three people called me a horse, I would have get a saddle. In other words, it was time for me to pony up and get a saddle.
  14. I just posted a short clip on Twitter... It speaks for itself. Again, if any of you have any feedback for me, I'm all ears.
  15. Kenny, You're correct. I made a very big mistake. Stay tuned. I'm mustering up for a response. Thanks for the feedback. -Max
  16. Steed, I agree with you. It's not a great day, but your words ring with truth; I will use the guidance they parlay. Thank you. I'm reflecting on this deeply. I will get back to you shortly... Again, I appreciate your response. -Max Bread crumbs
  17. Oliver, Your points are very well taken. I agree with you about moving along. That said, I must respectfully push back on the comparison to Brodie Sinclair. He was prepaid, given round trip tickets to Chicago, and was booked in a prepaid room at the Four Seasons. One could argue that he was trying to extort his client for political reasons because of a housing situation. That is a very different scenario. I do appreciate your perspective about moving on and understand that what I did was not right. I'm sorry and will do what I can to make amends. Again, thanks for your thoughts here. -Max Bread crumbs
  18. TylerandAce, You make excellent points. Thanks for your perspective. There are moments when I want to reach out to talk to other colleagues because they understand what it's like. Your experience and professionalism shine in your remarks. Accepting the loss and inevitability of flaky persons posing to offer work is a bitter pill. I'll swallow it. That's the opportunity cost for the moments I get to swallow with greater pleasure. (Sorry for not writing that more interestingly as a pun. The mood of the moment dominates.) I believe that the pictures we're taking off of the Internet and the phone number seems to be a Google Voice number. Even still, publicly outing somebody in that way was wrong of me. I am sorry for doing that. Not only does it cast a shadow on professional credibility, it also reeks of bullying and vindictiveness. Again, I'm sorry. If there's any way to connect with you guys for a more for personal exchange, please let me know how to do so. Thanks again. Stay tuned... Max Bread Crumbs
  19. Boomer, Yes. You're right. All the points here are well taken. I'm feeling the emotional hangover, and a sense of contrition that's hard to express, but I'll try. Stay tuned... -Mac Bread crumbs
  20. Goodness gentlemen! I do not expect any of you will ever understand fully what was involved in the case you're undoubtedly referring to here, but I'll begin by inviting any of you to call me. You can reach me through my ad. I welcome your comments. I believe that you'll discover I'm not the villain so easily imagined by the exchange here. To the contrary, those who know me best, those who continue to authentically arrange time to meet me for equally authentic experiences, would paint an entirely different image. The said individual who contacted me caused me to lose a considerable amount of time and money. He was able to do this by contacting me weeks in advance, being dishonest, and winning my trust. Like several others who've done this before, he waited until only minutes before the arranged meeting and then ceased all communication. Apparently, some individuals who do this enjoy the sense of exhilaration experienced by setting up a meeting time and place. One guy admitted that he used the excitement to masturbate; look him up on the Bad Boy Report (I believe he went by 'Tim in Cincinnati). He was especially proficient in the nuances of prevarication Typically, we simply absorb the loss and chalk it off to experience. It isn't glamorous. Even worse are the experiences of my fellow colleagues who are physically mistreated, some after driving hours to arranged meeting places and never compensated. I'm not appealing to any sense of pity, simply your understanding. I can count the number of times I've spoken up about my experiences with flakers on two fingers. This is one of them. For those of you who think it's to be expected and that we should just accept it, I ask you to reflect a moment. What might you suggest in this case? I'm willing to listen, apply your advice, and let you know how it works. I invite those of you still reading to check out the reviews guys have written after meeting me. Some of them have met me multiple times and still have plans to do so in the future. Lastly, check out the track record of professionalism that I've established with the various directors and production companies that I've worked with for over four years. Talk to the performers and production assistants that can vouch for me in this regard. And if you are still not convinced, post a comment on Twitter asking fans about the personal correspondence I've had with them over the years. I'm willing to stand up to the test. In the meantime, I'm currently trekking through the Northeast and available. XXXOXXO, Max P.S. Have any of you heard about the wicked popcorn flavored protein shakes that I make. Ask Mike Gaite about them.
