My fam came from Carmine St, when I was very young my grandparents still lived there and I remember an older cousin in their kitchen who was a cop there in the W10 St station talking about the trailer trucks parked under (it was still standing then) the elevated W Side Highway and how they were always having to (his words) chase the queers out from there. I'VE been wondering last several years WEHT Jason Adonis, whom I met with several times on his NYC visits prolly '08- '11 in there. Prolly the closest to Greek God I've ever met lol 6'1 black hair green eyes beautiful face a body to die for etc. The connection was via a long time friend and client of his so I got to know him well. Very sweet (but somewhat "lost") guy. I think mid 40's is closer. A buddy hired him (specifically wanted a surfer "boy" look) so I told him the truth and he cancelled the appmnt. (3 days prior MORE than acceptable) when pressed as to WHY he was honest and the guy went off the rails on him this comes from assholes jealous liars his pics were 100% ACCURATE he was TWENTY-SIX etc etc. So there you have it. I think it depends on what "Knows socially" means. Friend of a friend? Bar friend? Neighbor? Co-worker or (as in my case) PARTNER or BF of a friend? If it's just the friend of a friend thang run into at parties events etc etc it's NBD I've done that (and latr discovered half my buds and me were Eskimo Brothers lol) so just contact him thru his ad and be upfront that you know him etc. If it's a closer tie it can get uncomfortable. Yes MEAN lol, but SO is saying you're a "college" age Frat (or 26yo surfer or 20's farm boy or one of the many other handles he's used along with insanely photo-shopped pics I mean like a LUCY in MAME filter) when in reality a mid 40's or 50 yo will walk thru the door.
