Awww, Jeremy was a real favorite of mine from days gone by. I live in the same state where he (used to?) live, prior to some of his difficulties. I came within a hair's-breadth of getting some time with him. I think he could have been a real lot of fun. Oh man, Mach has been along long-time favorite. He seems like he could really put himself into flexing and showing off. Could have worked with him for hours.

You may run into problems with the event's security guys on the photography. Increasingly it seems that promoters will forbid any competition photography other than whoever they have officially hired. "Professional" cameras may not be allowed in the auditorium at all, which poses a dilemma. The security guys may think that any camera with an attached lens thereby makes it "professional," but a pro-looking camera is more likely to impress and tempt a competitor. I have seen photographers who just want pictures for themselves be escorted out of an auditorium. In addition, promoters may likely ban any solicitation of photography anywhere at the venue. At least that's what I have seen in the NPC / IFBB from the "Camera Nazis."

Quite a disappointment. I had my hopes up because I also life in Minnesota and serious muscle ready for worship doesn't grow on trees here, as far as I can tell.

Tristan, you and I have never met but I wanted to comment on your very generous post. First, along with so many others, my condolences on your loss. Because of the photos and background you were so kind to share, it's clear to me that your father was part of a truly special group of men. World War Two is fading deeper into history every year. That's tragic because we owe men like your father more than we can imagine. "Hero" is a word too flippantly used these days, in my opinion. But not at all flippantly when describing those gentlemen. The heroic guys who quite literally saved us all in that awful war fought against tyranny and genocide – and WON. My heart goes out to your father through you, his son and inheritor of his legacy. It would be a true pleasure - and honor - to meet you and learn more about your dad. P.S. I used to do some skydiving back in the day, just for sport, and I envy you for being a part of the Demonstration Team program which clearly means so much to you. – Take good care and thank you once again for what you have shared with us. - Craig in Minnesota
