Well, I had a confirmed appointment at his hotel. About five hours before the appointment, when I was on my way into NYC, I texted him to get the hotel room number. A few hours later, I got a series of text messages saying he had second thoughts about the safe but rough activities we had agreed on. I reassured him that I respected limits and posed no physical threat to him, but he ended up (an hour later) simply cancelling. Followed by 5-10 texts justifying his last-minute cancellation. Honestly, he seems very nice and extremely responsible. But I am 100% pissed at him for leading me on and then cancelling last-minute. (Earlier in the summer he had also cancelled at the eleventh hour, but I thought he had a legitimate excuse. Now I wonder if he were not lying then? Do not know.) So a slight caution about Ethan.
