Not sure if there's a more recent thread, but did not have a positive interaction with HunkUK late last year. Originally contacted him early autumn 2024 as I had a business trip to London planned late autumn, and had requested a face pic; he declined and said to message him once I was in London. Okay, fine, but that is always a warning flag for me. I think I'd messaged him a week or two in advance, indicating my arrival date, and the response was cursory (read: less than welcoming), but ended up only having one night there on arrival - didn't message him, since getting off a nine hour flight and wanting to play isn't in the cards. Fast forward to November 2025, and my yearly visit to London, this time with a guarantee of time in London a week after my arrival. I'd messaged in advance of what date I was available, and on arrival in London the week before, confirmed my presence and intended date/time. His response was slightly accusatory, along the lines of "I thought we were going to connect last year" and fair, but he's not top of mind when I have to suddenly get on a train 18 hours after a transatlantic flight, but again declined to show a face pic.
So when I arrived back in London for a few days, I messaged him and asked for a face pic, to which he finally obliged. He also indicated he was at the gym, and to send him my hotel and room number and he'd be over within a few hours. Okay, first, def not the date/time I'd indicated for my availability in at least two prior messages to him, and second, while the build I like, not my type (and in my opinion, definitely not "rugged". I messaged back, very politely indicating that while handsome, not my type, and the timing wouldn't have worked regardless. Of course he wasn't happy with my rejection and accused me of wasting his time and blocked me.
Had he shown me his face the year before, or even the week before, the situation could have been avoided, and his demand to meet that afternoon wasn't going to fly either. This was entirely on him. Unimpressed and unprofessional.
