I love taking Amtrak to and from NYC, I'd never change it! I've even commuted that way from Seattle to LA once, stopping by SF. As it was said on here before: Is up to us to make our own choices when it comes to getting a plane ticket on United, Delta, etc, and what kind of seat/service do we want? Flying is tough? Some folks can't afford flying and take greyhound across America, that's tough.

Not Emirates... @Gar1eth Would the OP take Amtrak next time he needs to commute? Maybe a couple of stops on his way back to home?

it wasn't clear on your post, I only fly United. I meant an upgrade on any airline that has First Class or Economy Plus. I get extra leg room on united 24 hours before departing, and I buy the upgrade to first class to go across the country at the airport, usually is cheaper that way. When you said exit row have 2 seats instead of 3, did you mean Southwest on that case or another airline?

yes but as rvwnsd says you can pay $15 early bird get an exit row seat or upgrade to business class. Right on and blunt as usual! We all have choices: 1) jerking off 2) hookup 3) hire a guy who's worth $ 75. 4) hire an escort who's worth $ 300. In most cases like in the airline business you get what you paid for!
