I've heard that expression too and I've read plenty of profiles who ostentatiously claim it. I think he lives in Palm Springs and over there is more customary for older gay men to have a houseboy or a kept man permanently living with them. yes, we must be aware of the laws (and use google) if we want to hire in a different country. There are also states and cities where I wouldn't take chances either.

They don't charge you that, they keep it as a "pending" charge, right? I haven't been in a hotel since March and that's how it was back then. I have a lifetime platinum membership in Sheraton (now marriott) I get the temporary/pending charges back into my account a couple of days later. Why is such a big deal? Why you say "it feels discrimination"?
