First of all how long have you met him and how often do you see him? Are you his regular client? I would assume any guy I hire regularly would tell me his own name but maybe that's just me. In some cases for Venmo/PayPal* payments and specially for trips he must tell you us his real name. *Some guys use an alias without their real name for that but I haven't met anybody yet.
