To clarify, the item in question was a Van Cleef & Arpels Alhambra bracelet. I’ve never had a reason to post on this site before, so I signed up solely to share what happened and hopefully prevent someone else from having the same experience. I’m not trying to interfere with this guy’s business. I can see he has plenty of good reviews, and this may well be a one-off situation. But it did happen, and I’ll admit part of it was my mistake for leaving something valuable out.
