I know some people don't like Canyon Club, but their cancellation policy is even better. We only had to pay for the first night as a deposit, and it will be refunded to us (less a $15.00 cancellation fee) if we cancel no later than 72 hours before check-in. Looking forward to seeing you all next year! Rob

The only reason to go to Denny's in Palm Springs is if everything else is closed. We finally tried Rick's recently, on our way out of town after a weekend in PS, and loved it. Rob

I like both places, although Shakey's usually has a lot of families with kids, which I could do without but as long as we're talking restaurants, I highly recommend Brickworks. It's upstairs, overlooking Palm Canyon, where Matchbox used to be. We haven't tried their pizza yet, but their omelettes are fantastic. Great service too, very friendly, and they never seem to be too busy, even during peak brunch time on Sunday. A well-kept secret so far! Rob

I think we're talking about the same place, but I also think it's more than two blocks. If it's not, they're two very long blocks. And I didn't say anything about your drug comment at Canyon Club because I've never witnessed any drug transactions there. Rob
