As many Bay Staters know, our options for masseurs is limited...esp for a city of its size and stature. So, a new masseur is cause for significant interest. He was completely open and I suggested 8PM. He was close by and, therefore, didn't inquire about the address right then. At 7:30PM, i messaged asking for the address. He responded that he was running behind and wanted to move to 9PM. This was later than I desired so I declined and said that I'd reach out again. He apologized and I said 'no worries...'. I messaged again today at 10:51AM, inquiring about availability. He asked for a time; I said 6PM? He agreed. Again, 30min prior to the appointment, I asked for the address. Was told that another client had moved his appointment to 6pm (WHAT?????) and he was on the way. Asked if I wanted to reschedule for later this evening. He suggested 8PM; I said Ok and was finally given the address. At 7:28PM, he said that I could come then. I said that I was finishing dinner and needed to shower. At 7:57PM, he asked for an update and at 7:59PM, I texted that I had arrived. Walked in, got onto massage table. Was back in my car at 7:33PM. Was charged the 60min rate for 33min. massage. CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!

Had the distinct pleasure of seeing Jonny this evening. He's a very well trained masseur who worked really really hard on my very tight neck and upper back...the results of too many hours of computer work, hunched over like a pretzel. He works from a table and uses massage cream. He uses the email function of rentmasseur for contact so expect several back-and-forths over the course of the day. Overall, this was the best massage that I've gotten in my 6 years in Boston. I know that many providers use the Mr. Number app to look up scammers and time wasters. Decided to see if it worked the other way, as well. Sure enough…reports on ProfessionalLMT’s phone number. Have also provided the images to rent masseur.

Sigh....I hope that he gets tipsy, trips in a pothole and sprains his right ankle.

Rent Masseur is going to investigate the numerous reviews. Hope that that comes to something.

Completely agree that there are scammers on both sides of the equation....providers and clients. Having gotten burned yesterday, I will NEVER do it again.

It was a moment of weakness and I got sucked in by the numerous reviews that he APPEARED to have. I thought that gave me some comfort that he was real, but have found out that this is not the case. My loss....LITERALLY.

Tried to submit a review on Rent Masseur, but it was rejected because I hadn't been in touch with him via the website. Nonetheless sent a message asking that all of the IP addresses of his many reviews be checked....many recent reviews all came on the same day. Will see what happens. Again, hope that no one else suffers the same fate.
