Interesting response given you may not have known my grandparents were either born in Scotland or Nova Scotia. My maternal grandmother was born in Aberdeen, Scotland. I remember her because she lived with us. She loved the poet Robert Burns and read his poems outloud with a Scottish accent. I greatly regretted now that I spent so much time in Australia and New Zealand and none in Scotland. I had no control over spending a year in the army in South Vietnam Me and Prince Harry......nice ass

That means a lot of flying between Massachusetts and California. With occasionally rent a cars to make a cross country trip.

You could spend a few long weekends in Boston during the Winter. Take up ice hockey, which I would love. And watch professional and college basketball and hockey on television or in person.

A sweater is not need in July and August. Summer in Massachusetts is quite hot

I enjoy living on the east coast fairly near the Atlantic Ocean and New York City. Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania. I was close to Palm Springs once - in August, many years ago. Too hot
