The entry list to the Australia Open is just that an entry list. Certainly doesn't mean Novak can play in Melbourne (he may decide to get vaccinated so he can play.)

I remember him as one of first Cuban baseball players. He played in the Negro Leagues and eventually for the Chicago White Sox and briefly for the St Louis Cardinals. Mr. Minoso was a outfield player and more importantly a superb hitter. He died in 2015. His wife, son and son's boy friend memorized the phone numbers from the baseball fall of Fame and answered after one ring! Glad to see Minny and other Negro Leagues players now fully recognize with their major league service.
