That really is NOT the issue here. The OP is in a service oriented business, where IMO 50% is calls and questions and the other 50% is the actual service. In any business, customer service is tantamount to actual performance... The OP wants people to just throw their money at him with NO prelim time spent on "wooing the client"..... I doubt a savvy client will play that game, especially with so many fakes and frauds out there these days. ?

I suspect that the OP will find the same situation and client behavior no matter what state he goes to. The problem is his "attitude" and prospective clients sense it. So a change of scenery without a change of attitude is completely fruitless. Noone wants to deal with an "angry" person..... no matter what the reasons are for that anger. If you want to be in a service oriented business, suck it up and deal with it, or get out. It is unfair to subject "prospects" to your anger issues and Diva behavior.
