Thanks Sync, good information. I'd still be willing to give FF a try, once they get the new engine up and running and I could be assured the plane wasn't going to crash...

I know I'm getting old when I focus on the shoes instead of the arms...

Same: Windows 10 8GB ram. I have always preferred Firefox, however it also began crashing my system a couple of weeks ago. It would happen several times a day. I tried several Internet fixes and nothing worked, except one fix did recommend uninstalling it. I was finally able to uninstall Firefox, and decided I would stick with Internet Explorer, and shut my computer off to reboot. It took about 2 hours because it required 28 new Windows 10 updates. I patiently waited. When it was over, everything was fixed, and the computer was unbelievably fast. I would re-install Firefox in a minute if I could be guaranteed that it would work properly, but I think that shipped has sailed, unless as Kevin mentioned they come out with a new version...calmly waiting for it.

At least you said "purely anecdotal" Because it is. I have friends who don't smoke and are horrible tippers, yet I have never smoked, and I tip easily in the 25% range every time. I always have at least one before dinner cocktail, and never order until I have finished that cocktail, and I always order at least one after dinner cocktail. I hate restaurants who try to rush you out or "turn tables" as they. My non-smoking friends linger as long as my smoking friends do. Perhaps someone has done some research on this. As far as LeBoy is concerned. I only go if friends are here from out-of-town. I wouldn't be caught dead in the place otherwise, and it has nothing to do with their smoking policy.

I never lend out anything...ever, period, end of story. AND I never ask to borrow anything from anyone, ever, period, end of story. Not my car, not clothes, nothing...and certainly not LV luggage. The only person being selfish is her. Sometimes you just have to learn to say "No". I would have said to her. " I think you are a wonderful person and I value our friendship, but I have a policy of not loaning out personal item to anyone, and I never ask to borrow anything from anyone. I hope you can understand my position. Replacing that luggage, should it become damaged or lost, would cost thousands of dollars, certainly not a cost that you would want to incur." I won't let anyone drive my car or the boat, even if I'm in it. I have lent out money, but never an amount that would matter if it was not returned.

I love them, but you're not far off the mark. It's almost like a cult. Coming off the 101 I would pass the one at Van Nuys and Riverside on the way home. You could smell the burgers from the intersection. If I caught the light, I almost always circled around the block, and yes.... got in a line that was usually 20 min long. Addiction comes in many forms.

It is also the place to stop and wait for friends that are landing at LAX. From the In-N-Out location, it is less than 5 min to enter the "arrival" terminal and circle through. I come early, grab a burger, and wait on that side street next to In-N-Out. Friends landing just send me a text as soon as they are curb side, then I can just swing through and make the legal 3 min stop.

I hope this kind of behavior doesn't dissuade you, because people failing to honor commitments happens in all businesses. It's human nature, it's part of our character, we are a flawed species. There will come a point in time that you realize it's just not worth the frustration, but that point is different for all of us. I remember waking up one morning and realizing that I had enough, and it was time to walk away. Fortunately...I was able to do it on my terms. It was a gift from the man above, but I took it with great gratitude. It can never be said enough..."For every door that closes, one opens"

It's been a pleasure, but I will no longer participate in conversations... Mocha, Oct 22, 2017 "So, at this point it's just best for me to only post in 1 section of the forum simply for advertising purposes only. I will no longer be engaging in personal conversations publicly on the board. I'm not mad at anyone or storming off or trying to prove a point...but at this point in time I can't handle any extra or unnecessary setbacks or distractions with the responsibilities I currently have going on and coming up this and next year. So Thankyou everyone for your advices, and those who know me, you know where to reach me".
