  1. Nah, facts matter
  2. So what happened when he didn’t arrive - did you contact him, what did he say?
  3. So what happened when he didn’t arrive - what did he say? Hard to believe he’d just go silent after confirming ahead of time?
  4. $$$
  5. Damn. Anyone here with experience meeting him? Must be a way to still hire him
  6. Anyone know what happened to this guy?
  7. Interesting. So where do you meet?
  8. Recommendations?
  9. From recent experience, I’m now convinced that in London at least this has become the NORM with providers - they expect and insist on providing an Uber. Revolting practice
  10. Is it? Within what parameters?
  11. Any practical tips to mitigate the risk - such as not paying upfront, method of payment (cash vs electronic), using a different number etc etc?
  12. What measures or mitigations should clients take if they are concerned about providers potentially working undercover to entrap them? Is this is a genuine risk? Thinking along the lines of law enforcement cutting a deal with providers if they work with them to entrap clients. Keen to hear the thoughts of this forum
  13. Oh please! 🙄 Get a grip
  14. Any interesting tales or desires about fucking way up in an ultra lux high rise penthouse, room with a view? Talking floor to ceiling views, absolutely no blinds
  15. Thanks for all the responses. Seems the agencies or PR people do exist, then… never hear of them though. I really do think there’s a market for ultra premium
  16. Correct - and my takeaway from this thread confirmed what I thought, that should providers request it, the answer should be absolutely no. If they have an issue, I’ll move along swiftly to the next one.
  17. I mean, seriously, in 2024 how can the best we have be such an outdated, non user friendly, unreliable platform? The alternatives are even worse and not worth a mention. How is there not a slick, modern, utterly reliable global platform in 2024? How are there are not agencies that can handle every step of arranging, organizing and guaranteeing bucket list experiences with the best providers (or others like celebs) that are out of normal reach? surely there is a market of zillionaires or those with excessive disposable income to pay anything to have everything taken care of and arranged for a weekend with someone that is otherwise just a fantasy. What happened to money can buy anything?
  18. I Think he’d bottom
  19. I don’t mind whether the concierge notices a tribe of boys coming and going, in fact I prefer it - from a security perspective. I prefer to meet providers in the lobby, maybe have a drink before going up. Most 5 star hotels totally understand discretion and privacy.
  20. Who’s talking about Upper Manhattan?
  21. Don’t buy it - I think it has more to do with entitlement, laziness or both. There are a myriad ways to establish if a client is a time waster - they just lack the initiative to do so
  22. Couldn’t agree more! The idea - no, the expectation - of needing to be chauffeured as a precondition to do outcalls is galling
  23. Sage advice! Thanks very much
  24. Is this normal and expected? It’s becoming far more of a norm in my experience. I don’t mind it, except that if the client has to book the Uber and doesn’t have a separate profile, discretion and total privacy are lost. what’s the alternative if one hosts?
  25. Omg @liubit! You’ve literally just described exactly what I have in mind. Thanks so much. It’s really comforting to know it’s been done, and so successfully. Any advice, risks or tips you might suggest - logistically, or anything else? thanks again
